Well I took the question literally, if I were that guy with those circumstances meaning: Okay I'm a quadriplegic but I also have a woman that will stop at NOTHING to help me through this. So as far as the conditions of the original question what would I do if I were that guy and had the same person there for me I still stand by my original answer. If I returned home with NOTHING and NO ONE then yeah it'd be a challenge simply to wake up in the morning and have a reason to do anything other than feel sorry for myself.

Personally, if I was in that guy's place, I would have probably tried committing suicide. I know it's selfish, but I would have a hard time living like that.
