That dude is clearly S.O. maybe one of the SEAL teams so he's a damn bad ass and I commend both his valor and salute his commitment to his country and ideals. I think he did everything he could in light of his condition. Additionally, if I was him... I think eventually after a time you HAVE to try and get up. No one can stay fallen down forever. Not if you have what it takes in the strength of spirit to get as far as he did BEFORE his life changed. That kind of soul doesn't just shatter. It gets returned to the forge, re-tempered, renewed and resharpened to take the next challenge in life and cut it down to size for not only himself but everyone around him. Still... if the forge was that man's dedication to overcome adversity then the fire in the forge was the love of his wife and the strength of their relationship. In my mind, NOTHING can top that.

It's easier said than done. Without both of your arms and legs? Think about how you're supposed to carry on living if no one is around to take care of you. Regardless, he's a strong willed man.

true love, i guess. i'm sad to say, that these pictures didn't really move me at all. if it was real life and i met them before and after the armless thing, i would completely be in shock, feeling remorse for them.

at my current mind set, i would completely do all of that. but it depends on the relationship. i may be able to do it, until she's better but i can't full heartedly do this if the chemistry was never there. as a friend i can continue this, but i can't marry her out of pity.

no, and i've been married 10 years now. this is the kid of thing that every spouse should do for their lover. maybe if more of us put each other first, more of us would stick together.
i didn't cry at all, because i know i'd do this for my husband in a heartbeat. i wouldn't even have to think about it. yes, it would suck, but it would totally suck more for him.

Sad but cute story.

I would do the same for my man.

One day he asked me: 'If I grow old, will you still love me?'
I said: 'yes'
He then asked: 'What about if I become fat? will you still love me?'
I said: 'yes'.

And I do mean it~!
I will stick with him and make him happy for the rest of my life.
(unless he cheats)

But yah, he could have his legs, arms chopped off, he would still be my man.

Glad I'm not alone. xD I don't really mean any disrespect to anyone about it but it just doesn't bring out any emotion from me.

That was really sweet. If I was in that woman's situation as you asked, yes I will stay by his side and try to what she's done in the photos.

Something you wish you could experience, but sadly won't, as you're an ugly, disgusting, piece of unwanted shit.

Wow, that was a better, faster and more realistic story compared to dreadful Twilight.

What's 50 Shades of Grey again?

How sweet..
They have strong bond of relationship..
I envy them..

I HAVE to share it with you guys.

They say every picture tells a story. In this case, times that by 22. I came across this series on the net and was moved beyond words.

If you're the girl, can you do THAT MUCH for him? And if you're the guy, what would you do?

Hmm.. He looks familiar. I guess this is another picture of him:

A kid from my hometown lost parts of all 4 limbs in Afghanistan. Here he is in Washington with his new prosthetics.

It's rather touching that their love was so strong, that even that incident couldn't stop them from loving each other and keep growing stronger.

Also, it is amazing how far science has come to aid people such as him. Truly amazing.
