OK folks here it is. A group for the older anime lovers to mingle and discuss anime and trade war stories in a more mature and sometimes not so mature manner. It's primarily intended for folks over 30, but old souls are also welcome. Just don't act like little punks or you will be banned.

I'm 31 and I still watch anime passionately. I watch anything really, though I prefer the grand adventure over the school life anime, maybe because I haven't been in a classroom for over a decade. I still remember watching anime that was on late night on Sci-fi channel, such as Detonator Orgun, Orguss 08, Macross and my all time favourite anime movie, Wings of Honneamise. But yeah, long time now.

27 here. I too started buying DBZ on VHS for like $20 for 3 or 4 eps before there was really a lot of online shopping. Anyone else remember when outlaw star was on late at night? Or when the sci fi channel had their anime runs on friday night showing banner of the stars?

50 years old, accountant here but I'd never admit it to your face and don't even try caliing me out at Sakura Con! LOL! While it wasn't my first experience with anime style I have very fond memories of the American televison broadcasts of the Macross series Robotech in the 80's. It felt much more mature than what was coming from most American animation. I'll be a fan and demanding my Crunchyroll fix when I'm old and beat in the home. But my son loves anime too and we both cosplay some at the con. I need to find a great older, larger character though. My wife even joined us recently for every episode of Sword Art Online
