You can never be too old to enjoy a hobby/interest.
But when I'm buying Manga and I'm waiting in line and the guy in front of me is clearly middle-aged and/or older and he's buying large (often perverted) figma then I get a little disturbed.

Your not too old to watch anime, just too mature to post or like any of these ridiculous forum topics the teens post.

I am 32, used to watch Ranma1/2 and ninja scroll back in the day. started subscribing to crunchyroll when they took on naruto and bleach. I still miss Dattebayo sometimes . I dont feel old when watching anime, only when my body dosnt work like it used to.

Hey, your local...I'm a New Yorker too! Anywho, I absolutely never feel out of place or too old for anime or the manga forums. Probably because I stay active offline in my hobby and I run into a lot of fans that flounder in their fandom and I kind of guide them along the way. I have had some of the "youngin's" on CR pms approach about specific shows or link me to their artwork to showcase how much they love the stuff.

I've been into this stuff since the 80's when I had to rely on china town subs on VHS!!. However, my experience on CR since '07 has never been met with negative comments, flames, or trolls about anything. Don't sweat your age...just consider yourself a senpai. All the newcomers are your kouhai

Ninja Scroll is the bomb...You make me want to go pull out the DVD's to watch it all over again.

Never too old for your hobby is true. I can understand that thing about seeing people buying those mature figurines. I get those rare looks from other patrons when I'm buying BL/ yaoi/ or yuri manga.

Well, you can put me on the roll of older fans, too. I've been watching for a long time now. I'm also a huge fan of manga and K-drama. And I'm really glad to see I'm not the only teacher on here. My high schoolers are truly amused that I watch and read all this.

It depends on what you say and do. If you act all immature, both online and offline, then older people won't take you seriously.

IMO you're never too old to watch anime. I'm 28 and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon.

Geeze, Wally, what kind of question is that? OPINION: If you enjoy it, you're not too old for it...
