Hi everyone, OyO here! I can finally make topics xD yay!

I'm a full time professional illustrator and mangaka from Japan though in UK at moment and have several big commissions such as a visual novel game and a big illustration book to do currently... (of course if anyone wants me to make a commission for them, I always have time ^.^)

Anyway I have been budgeted for a 2 year project and was wondering which style of mine people like =)

I was thinking of probably a more cg photoshop style for the novel like:


Although faint abstract pen might also be nice:


The big book and accompanying manga should probably be more traditional style :





Yeh but, I like to hear other people's opinions =)

damn I can't choose they are all so good, I'd have to say go with whatever you think is best.

While I can't say I have much experience with visual novels, it does seem like the CG/Photoshop look is the style most often used in anime today. Being something of a nonconformist, I say be distinctive and go with the pen work.

Other than that, what I've seen here is of the sort of quality I would expect from a professional mangaka; a level that I'm still trying to reach with my own work (htts//sites.google.com/site/frontier2170). I don't know if you're up for some constructive criticism, but the second panel in the "I wonder if it's my appointment" page is backwards; she should be looking around the corner toward the left side of the page, not the right.

It's a little nitpick, though.

My favorite is the Terra/Celes drawing, because FFVI is my favorite RPG and...well, big titties! :P

Keep up the great work Oyo, and good luck with the visual novel game and illustration book.

Wow, I love all of the art here, it's amazing. It's going to be hard to choose, I love the one little comic with the girl looking into the doctors room saying "I wander if it's my apointment yet." I think it's cute but that's just me, I also love the realistic looking ones they are gorgous. I will need to think more on this and look at them more cause they are all wonderful^^ I'm sorry that I wasn't much help at the moment though.

No quarrels with any of the styles..I think they are look quite amazing. I like the second to last one the most.
