I don't decide to watch something based on whether it's dub or sub.

Nah I feel like if you're going to watch a serie or movie, I want it in the orginal language for the full experience. The same goes for animes.

I'd probably see what the first episode was like, but other than that, if I could watch the subbed version, personally, I'd have no reason to watch the dubbed version.

I would watch them. There are a lot of really good dubs out there.

Usually stuff set in England or America always have really good dubs. Some examples are Baccano! and Black Butler. In anycase though some can't do subs and so having the option for dub would be appreciated.

I like watching sub. When it's dub, some of the meaning is left out

Not really.. I've grown to hate Dubs over time but it also depends on how well it's Dubbed. For example I think '5 Cenimetres per Second' and 'Sora no Otoshimono' have great dubs.

I would watch dub, but would probably watch it a lot more if it was live dub. Which will not happen anytime soon. If I'm sitting down at a PC I'm more then happy with sub but if I'm laying down in bed watching it on my TV I typically enjoy dub more. Im suppose to wear glasses tho, I can manage without when at PC but from 10 foot some of that small font can get irritating.

Expectually when I lay down to relax and stretch out. Always end up sitting on the end of the bed so I can read it.

Might just be me, but I feel dub gives you more time to actually view expressions and enjoy the over all anime's visual quality's.

True, but even sub doesn't give you extremely accurate translations. Unless you actually speak Japanese you can miss a lot.

Couldn't tell you how many times iv heard a character say (baka, hentai, oniichan) but in the sub not even mention it. I always wonder if they just don't translate it, if its a poor translation, or simply something they fell we don't need to know.

I often wonder if what I'm getting with sub is edited. If that's the case I would like dub since its my native language, that and I hat to wear glasses to read sub lol.
