Thought membership meant lots of hd shows

Thought shows were better quality on here Are you viewing on a device or via a web browser? Currently CR does not support higher than 480p except via Flash streams. I note you said, "with animation they let you pick hd". Are you referring to drama then? If so, I am unfamiliar with the number of shows that are available in HD, but I know some are. Keep in mind that to have premium membership privileges for both drama and anime, you would need a full access membership. If you had only an anime membership, for example, access to drama would be the same as if you were a free member. Likewise the same would be true for anime if you had a drama membership.

TheAncientOne brought up a good point as well. If you're referring to the drama videos, then you must have a drama membership to watch in HD. In your case, you only have an Anime membership.

CR provides only 480p encodes for the Roku so you can't change the quality settings for Crunchyroll on the Roku. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Technically Roku should work fine but real life tests will need to be done to confirm this and deploy. I imagine HD video for our apps will start showing up within the month.
