Good Day
Device: iPad 2 and iPhone 4S Verison: IOS 6 Crunchyroll app version: updated 9/19/2012 Subcription to CR: Anime Initial: Before it was easy connecting either iPad or iPhone to LCD TV via composite cable so that the CR video would show on the TV rather than on the device. Problem: recently connected device to TV but the video still plays on the device rather on the TV. Tested the cable by playing netflix on the device and displaying on the TV (cable works) Is there a problem with meither my subscription? IOS update? or Crunchyroll App? Need Advice Thank you |

The post two below yours asked the same exact question and was answered, as well as in the iOS app thread. Be sure to check those before posting another thread.
Here is the answer that the other post received: Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide starry wrote: crisdayao wrote: Hi, I just updated the Crunchyroll app in my iPhone 4 and iPad 2. I noticed whenever I tried to play using Composite Video Adapter it won't play to the TV. Previously once a video is playing, the screen on the iPhone/ iPad will be replaced by a dark background with the words "This video is playing on the TV" (or something similar like that, I couldn't remember anymore). With the new update, the video will keep playing on the iPhone/ iPad but the sound will be mute. Also there will be no parallel playing on the TV. It will be nice to have the old interface back. It is much better watching on the TV as the subtitles is too small on devices. Cable output Is only currently working for sound. The engineers are already working on this problem. Sorry for any convenience. |
I made a new HTML5 Player for CR, see profile or go to hls.beardfist.net
