Probably the silliest question ever to grace the forums but I'm just wondering, I got anime fan today for this month and I got it in July but not in August. The achievement doesn't say "watched 100 hours of anime" but I imagine it is an episode or time count or something so I'm just wondering what is the threshold? Thanks.
Edit: and I should have put it in the small questions sticky thread. Sorry. If a mod sees this, please add it to that thread and delete this one. Thanks. |

You have to watch more than 20 current release simulcast episodes. Which means you pick up 5 or more anime series that are currently being aired during their weekly scheduled time, and follow them through until you get the badge. Hopefully this helps. |

That does help, thanks! I was on vacation in August and caught up when I got back which must be why I didn't get the badge that month. |

The achievements will not always unlock.
I've watched 4 series from start to end this month and not once has an achievement unlocked for finishing a series (like it use to). |

Please see this thread for achievements: http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-534985/achievement-badges There are a few you cannot attain unfortunately like the mini-mi Edit: before I noticed if you watched 6 minutes of an episode it counts... I think they now changed it to the entire episode. But achievements are deleted every month... when they came out I usually got all of them ^.^ |

But I don't have Anime Fan yet this month... alexwithcandy wrote: hpulley wrote: Probably the silliest question ever to grace the forums but I'm just wondering, I got anime fan today for this month and I got it in July but not in August. It is best practice with anime, especially the last episode of a series or season to watch right to the end as hey often have goodies well after the credits. Encouraging people to watch to the end for achievements is therefore a good thing! I am not too worried about them however. They are fun but not to be taken seriously. |

It is just something that shows how much you have involved in CR activities. Every time you post a reply in the forum, a comment in a video or guestbook, upload pictures to your profile, upload videos / Crunchyland designs (and they have to be approved), or have an Anime Member longer than a month, you'll receive points in return. However, the thing that you must not do to earn these points is spamming. If the Moderators found that you are spamming just to get a CR point, you will be punished. Besides, CR points are pointless once you have over 500 points. http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumtopic-595554/cr-un-official-faq |
