ALL

I'm in the UK and was watching this series on CR and now it's gone like it never existed on here

Can anyone explain this?

I'm in Austria, and I get "videos are unavailable in your region". I swear I saw Sword Art Online there a few days ago, I was just about to start watching it.

Today I came to conclusion I'm going to cancel my subscription. I get the feeling the amount of content we get in the EU is almost nothing compared, either when compared to the US or taken in isolation. And what we get it always scraping the bottom of the barrel. If they're trying to pull people away from piracy, this isn't the way to do it.

I can't recall any series that has ever downgraded regional availability while it was being simulcast. Contracts are there for a reason.

If you suddenly lose availability of series, you can assume either it is due to:

1. A error affecting many people that will be corrected.

2. Your location is being mis-recognized by the IP geolocation system. If not resolved by logging out and logging in again, you need to contact support. (If you go to the Contact page and scroll down to the bottom, you will see information including "Detected country". If this doesn't match where you actually are, you've found the problem).

3. Your location was previously being mis-recognized as being in an authorized region, and now your location is being recognized properly. (This is likely what happened in vivify's case, as SAO was never licensed for anywhere in Europe except the UK and Ireland).
