This thread might contain spoilers if you are only watching the anime and not reading the novel. You have been warned~ This thread will be more about general discussions about the novel Sword Art Online. When I say general, I mean to say "whatever you feel like writing" and can include rants, opinions, suggestions, babbles, etc. as long as it's SAO related!

To those who have only seen the anime and can't get enough I highly recommend reading the novels. I have yet to see official English translated novels. I'm personally reading user translated ones that unfortunately don't contribute to the author. If I could read Japanese I'd buy them without a doubt, but alas. Anyway, if you happen to know if the novels have English versions let me know. Conversely I'll be happy to provide a link to the English volumes if anyone is interested.

Yes I would also love to do that once they do a translation. Then again, I will buy their Blu-ray limited edition stuff to contribute towards a (hopefully) Season 2! lol Back on topic; I stopped myself reading after the GGO arc. I'm just so liking the character Sinon so much (perhaps more than Asuna) because she's just really enjoyable! When I heard her voice on the Drama CD I just loved it even more. I'm praying that A-1 will continue animating it because GGO is very action-packed.

Like you said I REALLY hope they keep making more seasons. I was rather disappointed with the manga, the art style was not to my liking. But the anime is stunning. I think ALO would be a beautiful place to see. I've yet to get to this GGO arc you speak of though. truthfully I've come to love Suguha as much as Asuna, so we'll see what this Sinon brings to the virtual table.

If there is already a good score of its own soundtrack, then there should be other products along the way such as apps, mini-games, or collectibles. I do hope that they stick to SAO's first season only, however.

In each of the light novels we have a female lead who falls in love with kirito...and each one of them has an illustration of them in their underwear XD. I dont know if the creator just thought would be funny or dint notice himself doing it. but Asuna and Suguha/Lyfa are both seen in thiers and Sinon shions avatar is seen. Heck even Scilica is shown in the anime. even though almost every girl thats featured long enough falls for kirito the oly one not shown in thier underwear is Lizabeth haha. Its just funny all around really

SAO novel should stretch to anywhere from vol. 14 - 16 from whats left in the original web novels. So another 2 - 3 years before it's all done being officially printed...
