I really enjoyed this episode, especially the letter. Maria was a great character.

I don't have much else to add than there are times when this show reminds me a great deal of Kaiba. I especially love how experimental this show can be with the animation style. The nightmare scene was well done.

Maria i thought was a decent character but mamoru, I just couldnt care about shinji ikari mk 2. I really wish they had shunned him earlier in the series (sorry for the terribad pun)

I always predicted that it was gonna be Saki X Satoru from since episode 1. Even with all the "I love Shun" and Saki X Shun tease, I never lost confidence that it was gonna be Saki and Satoru in the end, even if Shun somehow came back to life. Their relationship just screams "Yep, its gonna be these two." Then there's the fact that Satoru just gets a whole lot more screen time and "with Saki" time.

So, it seems the insert song from last episode is actually going to be our new ending song? Neat.
Now I'm excited to actually see the new episode, Tuesday certainly doesn't come fast enough, haha~

I dont suppose it would be possible for you to put these posts in spoiler tags with a warning before you post them next time? I really dislike having parts of the story ruined by people posting about it before its up on CR.

Alright, okay. I'll post my thoughts after CR debuts it on Tuesdays next time and spoilers.

Oh no I dont mind you posting it before, just if you could keep it in spoiler tags with a warning until the release it would be nice.

Thanks either way though

I always thought there was the risk of running into spoilers either accidental or on purpose when you visit the discussions threads. That was the same for its predecessor the "impressions" threads.

This show has me confused as to who's the enemy if there is one. I have no idea which queerat colony is teaming up with whom and ARGG it's all over the place!

The time skips seem odd to me, but it helps put perspective to how fast the colonies are changing. I have no clue as to who the main villain is, or maybe that itself is the thing. Not one but all of them, cos it's a very messed up society.

To be honest, I don't think there is a villain, only people with differing perspectives on how to survive in a messy situation.

We are the worst monsters in the world and always will be...

I love the new ED! Yuki ni saku hana /flowers blooming in snow is wonderful. I have the CD already. I loved Wareta Ringo and usually hate it when they switch the songs but this one is even more amazing!!!

Shinsekai Yori ED CD Wareta Ringo/Yuki ni Saku Hana is #9 on amazon's anime CD chart. I got it last week. It could easily outsell the anime BDs. I love the first ED but the second one is even better! It started airing at the end of episode #17 this past weekend. Will be watching that chart as well as BD 3 which I also got last week, comes with 71 minutes of bonus material!
