irtiza9169 wrote: That kid was really creepy, the plot for this anime has developed so wonderfully. Episode by episode, it just keeps on getting better and better and there are sooo many plot twists and unexpected outcomes. I have so much love for the author of this novel and the people who are making this anime. This should be an all time classic. I'm surprised however that this novel didn't get that much attention internationally, it's just sooo good! Also, on side note/question, can someone explain to me how the ogre is able to bypass the shame of death? It's on ep 12. The orges is totally lost their sanity, so don't feel bad when killing their own kind. They might also have the pleasure of killing. |

Oh..that makes a lot more sense now and also explains why that kid was smiling like a maniac... Thanks! |

Despite this being possibly the most predictable episode in my eyes, it's easily one of the better ones. It's got that wondrous atmosphere and gorgeous imagery to make up for a lot of it's short comings.
Though, I've noticed a lot more recently how horrible the human characters look in comparison. It's almost distracting to me. This was an interesting episode to watch, though I've little to discuss about the series anymore. Honestly, I'm just waiting to see how it ends at this point. It's not that I don't enjoy it, just I'm not sure what's left to discuss;; Also, friendly reminder to all you wonderful English speakers curious about the novel that Vertical still has this (http://tmblr.co/ZDHwcvdEKSBP) post about translating the novels, would mean a lot if anyone who hasn't would show some support. Only like the post if you plan on buying it for certain, I believe once they hit the mark they plan on contacting anyone who liked the post for preorders an such. They really do need to be certain they'll hit even, or they'll just go into even worse debt than they're already in. Again, many thanks for anyone who shows support. |

More will be revealed but think to yourself what is the difference between the ogre from years ago and Maria's son? Still lots more to come folks, hold onto your hats... |

Do you have any idea how many great books there are around the world the don't get much attention internationally?
A LOT. And... @hpulley: Did you get the BD 4 of the series yet? Unfortunately I've heard they haven't fixed episode 8's animation... :-/ |

I can't believe Mamoru and Maria had that ogre child...i was caught off guard and speechless and banged my head against the wall soon after. It just made me sad about those two especially Maria...and then I keep thinking back of Shun whom echoes throughout the series to me.

I received my copy last week, watched it, love it and the second soundtrack CD is absolutely awesome. I don't remember any animation problems with 8 just 5. Ten with Shun is so incredible, one of the best episodes of anything all year. AmaranthTehDrood wrote: Anyone know where one can(if you can) buy the BD volume 1 with subs?
