Interesting... but still not hooked yet. Don't really know enough about the characters to care about them yet and the mystery is still too mysterious for me to be hooked having to know what it is about. Hopefully it unfolds a bit more soon. Still interesting enough to keep watching.

The second episode wasn't as good as the first, but I think they are still in the setup stage. Anyway, I like where this is going. The opening shows an earlier period of time, hinting at the world the kids live in. And the episode itself develops our understanding about their powers.
I'm sure this camping trip is what is going to kick off the events for the rest of the series. I can't wait for the next ep. Plus, the music they are using in the pseudo-op is my favorite by far. I'm going to have to get the soundtrack when it comes out. I also like the ED music. It reminds me of the UN-GO soundtrack music. |

I went back and listened to it and was pretty catchy, with it being my favorite of the Fall Season so far. |

2nd episode was ok, didn't really feel that it carried on well from the 1st.
I will watch the next episode and make my mind up then I guess if I shall continue or not. |

Episode 3 Intense beginning is intense. But honestly, this was a relaxing episode with the nice soundtrack and night visuals. Overall, it was a mystical episode with the strange creature in the later half. It was a good watch. |

Cant wait for episode 4, finally going to learn what is actually going on. Eps 3 spoiler ahead
Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide So, I think there definitely was a war between regular humans and Cantus humans. Now the question is what is actually going on in the world outside of the village? The organic library does mention being allowed to use non-lethal force for self defense and its clearly not Cantus human technology. Its remnant normal technology. So is there some kind of treaty between regular humans and cantus humans? are regular humans still around at all anymore? |

There could be but it's hard to say right now given these first three episodes. Given the theme of the series, I'm assuming you might be right about an upcoming dimensional war involving psychic powers as well. |

Episode 3. Best anime of the season. |

Will you still love me when I'm no longer young and beautiful?

Really can't wait for episode 4 as it'll explain the truth behind the gruesome openings we saw specially from the 1st episode and why their society is secluded from the whole world.

Has anyone read the novel or know if the novel has been translated? These kinds of stories for me are easier read, all the jumping around with images just makes me lose interest. I can follow the time line but I find it annoying. They start off with 500 years in our future which has become more like past japan and then jump 500 more years to tell the story of our 5 main characters.

Haven't read them but now that you mention it, I want to buy them... I am turning into a collecting machine... Not sure if they've been translated. |

I haven't yet the novels yet either unfortunately. I know there's also a manga out although I'm pretty sure it's not translated yet.
Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide It seems there also yuri factors present in the manga based on some illustrations I've heard. |

Times like these I wish I had stuck with my Japanese classes in college, there have been a few novels and light novels from Japan that I would have loved to read. |
