I like History and Science (I like all of the different kinds, but I majored in Earth Science). I'm good at Math but I wouldn't really call it one of my favorite subjects. I am terrible at any language so while I don't really like taking classes that have a lot of writing (except technical writing I'm fairly good at that).

I had the same professor for three out of four of my art history classes. Doctor Goldstein. She didn't remember anyone's name other than me and let me do whatever I wanted because I always do really well in her class. I'll never forget walking out a class that I slept through and my girlfriend mentions that she tried to wake me up during class, and the professor stopped her. Doctor Goldstein said to let me be, I needed to catch up on my sleep. The day you get the greenlight to sleep through class.

Political Science.

I have this perfect world in my head that I want to make it a reality but modern politics makes so it will never happen. So political science helps me take a step back from my frustration of politics to see the world from a less polarized view. Otherwise I legitimately think I would go insane.

Salesmanship.

I had a minor in Economics back in the day here at MU and I took this course as an elective. I hated Public Speaking at the time as well as anything reeking of Establishmentarianism. The teacher was top notch, kept everyone's interest, knew his topic well. He resurrected the subject from draconian lost art status to transformative state of the art. Damn, I learned a lot about human nature and myself in those few weeks of instruction. The man could also read lips so he knew whether we were getting it or dissing it by watching us interact between ourselves. It was still win--win. He used the criticism constructively to reconfigure how to be a more effective communicator and positive role model during the next class session. The atmosphere was always positively charged, never recriminating or negative. Amazing instructor, amazing course. I wish many more courses taught there had been like this one.

Ecology. Every week we went hiking and identified trees or mapped out the area. The most fun I've EVER had in school!

Math. I sit and try to look cool as the teacher says my name and the big ten. As i look to my shocking classmates faces i am bursting laugh from the inside.

Math and Computer Science.

In these two subjects, you can solve problems in new, novel and interesting ways that your teacher never expected.

In the more artsy subjects, you have to cater to your teacher's tastes so you are really screwed if the teacher doesn't like you.
