That is not an issue, it is something that will always be there and that you should be happy is there. Those black lines fill in the extra space. Widescreen has an aspect ratio of 16:9 meaning for every 16 pixels it is wide, it will be 9 pixels tall. This is the aspect ratio that most of the videos have. The max resolution for your monitor would be 1920 x 1080 which is a ratio of 16:9. While it is close, the video is not in full screen, there are the video controls on the bottom. Because of those taking up some of the vertical space, the video must give up some horizontal space as well to make sure that regardless of size it still has a ratio of 16:9. So, that extra space is filled in with black. The only way it would not be there is if you had a monitor that supported a resolution of 1920 x 1113 which I do not think exists.

Well its kind of weird. When I do normally without your addon on CR, its working perfectly. Theres no black bars.

That is not weird at all, normally you either are watching it embedded in a page or in full screen, both of which allow the video to maintain its ratio. In normal fullscreen the bottom video controls are overlaid and disappear, while in the version you see in my extension they are fixed and are below the video.

nvm, got it fixed. working fine :D/ Thanks. now all we have to do is post-it on crunchyroll site so people can see this feature is available.

I doubt it will become anything official, but I do hope that some people find it useful. I hope they don't mind that I used their logo as the icon though.
