Someone that has been stuck in his room for most of his life wouldn't instantly know how to act in such a situation. You may think he is dumb now, that's cool, but he isn't and if they adapt it well enough you will see.

B'tOOm... its like an explosion sfx you would see in a manga or comic. The b is kinda like the b at the end of plumb, a bit of an aspiration instead of actually saying "be".

after watching the first ep, I think this will be a pretty good anime (Himiko fanservice aside lol)
what I'm more worried about is that the manga isn't done, and I think someone posted that this will be 12-13 eps long
I guess they'll either just end at a cliffhanger, open ending, or original ending :/

I liked animation and art style very much, I can't say anything about plot yet because is just the first episode but I think this anime will be awesome!.

Yep. It's entertaining enough for now. It's like a Michael Bay film. Lots of explosions.

I also realize that this is the standard heroic journey setup: an "incompetent" kid is forced into a journey that he didn't want to take. The kid then learns how to be a Great Hero (TM) and save himself and his companions. The incompetence angle was just a little overplayed in this case, imo.

Anyway, like most series, I'll give it the requisite 3 episodes. But I sincerely doubt, I'll cut this show.

An episode focused mostly on Himeko and her side of the story. Shit got real in this episode though like this scene here:

If the ainme is as good as the manga then this is defo on my to watch list!!! But yeah, there is a lot of rape in this anime, but still, it's also very serious and psychological....
