Given her backstory, I have to say her reactions to all the shitty things that have happened to her is pretty reasonable.
The event from the past, there was nothing she could have done different to my mind. I can see how her friends would feel the way they did but getting away put those bastards in jail, the only other choices would have put her in the same hell as her friends and who knows if any of them would have come out of it alive.
as for Fatty...he deserved that.
What's is pretty clear from this episode though is that everyone on this island was sent there by someone else. Someone decided "you should be gone" so I gotta ask
was it his mom that sent him here?

so now blonde himiko story give living a normal life with girl pals til one day a band appear her girls pals just been "got" & yet himiko run away get call cops while leave them.
cause of this they all left her & now she in island oh meet 3 guys seem bit hmm til food arrive cue every person for themselves.
then fatty try to eat himiko til bring blonde bombs to kaboom fatty & on her own with now focus rid of men on the island til met ryouta?

Yeah, this show is definitely not for me, I was unsure after the first episode, so i decided to read quite a few chapters of the manga. They are doing a great job of following the manga, that being said though, the genre is not generally one i follow. Dont really any interest in it, so since they are following the manga that well, there is no reason for me to believe this show is for me, so its my first drop of the season.

Anyone else find it funny that Himiko, the self-proclaimed noob to playing btoom (the videogame), actually figured out that she was carrying bombs and the differences between them before mr. best-in-japan sakamoto?

They were playing it off to hurry things up and get on with the main story, too much time spent of her figuring things out like what was already done in episode 1 would of derailed things. I'm personally glad they didn't backtrack when she was introduced.

I got the impression that everyone in Himeko's group knew what was going on. It seems like someone explained things before the got dumped on the island.
Not sure why Sakamoto doesn't remember but it probably has to do with the blood on the back of his head. I'm guessing he told the people behind this FU and got a club to the head for it.
If he's still recovering from a concussion it might explain why it took him so long to clue in

It's there.
It surprises me that a show this grim doesn't have parental warnings. Not that I need parental warnings  But I just find it strange that if I try and watch a show like Naikamo or So I can't play H, I get warned, but I don't get warned about the stabbing, murder & sexual assault in this show! |

It currently doesn't show up for me on the "B" page of the alphabetical listing, or on the "all" alphabetical listing. The series itself is still present, however, and can be found as soon as one types "BT" in the search box.
It is also missing from the Fall 2012 list of series by season, and the Simulcasts lists.
I recall this happening to a number of series last season, so it is no doubt a technical glitch rather than any sign of a problem with the license.

The 2nd episode was better than the first. But I really dislike how rape always has to be introduced to explain a strong female character.
