Man, DBZ and Pokemon really started it for me too.
I also remember seeing Inuyasha for the first time on Cartoon Network, and first thinking it was a bit weird, then just liked it more and more as it went along.
Miroku the pervert monk always cracked me up lol.

I was desperate for entertainment I guess. Did the original transformers count as anime? I was a child during their broadcasts and totally epic toys. Metal construction Optimus Prime FTW.

I've always been an anime fan, since I was a little kid. But, if I wasn't watching anime or obsessing over an anime character I'd probably be playing outside by myself, since I was a kid. LOL, a very lonely kid.

I was in diapers before I watched anime. I can remember watching Sailor Moon on Saturday mornings, and getting really excited when Digimon was first advertised. Also Power Rangers, I know it's not an anime, but it's from Japan.

i'd like to think better, i grew up on american cartoons, i watched anime not knowing the difference and didn't care until either naruto or flame of recca was when i watch my first sub.

I was a stuck up little girl before I started watching anime. It totally changed my outlook on life T_T. IN A GOOD WAY OF COURSE. But I can't remember much since it was a while back. Lol. Oh and it made me sit at my desk for atleast 5 hours more since I watch my anime on my computer. |

Honestly since I started watching anime before I even knew what it was as a kid. (Battle of the Planets/ Sailor Moon) I really don't think I was that different before watching it.
