The World God Only Knows is the best I've seen(S1). Elfen Lied and SAO were pretty good too.

Tough choice.

Bleach has several of the best openings. I especially love Alones and after dark. Fit the story perfectly.

FMAB I believe are some of the best, just because they revolve around the story. I.E. 1st hints at redo/restarting the anime while each other one focuses on major arc points. I also like how each one represents the 5 elements which further hints at the scale of the story.

SAO was one that I didn't know if it'd work but it grew on me and got the song immediately off itunes. Was surprised it was up so quickly over here.

For opening songs You Hitoto and Mummy-D's "Dots and Lines" from Zetman is one of my favorites, although I like a few others quite a bit as well, like Rip Slyme's "Supershooter" from Gantz, and Serial TV Drama's "Tougenkyou Alien" from Gintama.

HOWEVER if you're talking about the opening scenes of the anime itself, then the first ten minutes of Karas OVA: The Crow Awakens is mind blowing. CR doesn't have the rights to this anime, but it's out there. If you like action, it is a must-see.

The still gives you an idea of the art, but really doesn't do it justice.

I'm certainly enjoying Oreshura's OP.
Oniai's Opening is pretty funny.
Steins;Gate had a pretty good opening.
Kill Me Baby's OP brings a smile to my face.
Listen To Me Girls, I Am Your Father has a pretty decent opening.
And, probably because it reminds me of the show, I love Madoka's OP.


I'm sure there are a lot more that I love and am not thinking of now, but the above is a pretty good list.

Xam'd: Lost Memories' opening is AWESOME

I didn't even know it existed but apparently the broadcasted version (and not the ONA) had it's own special opening which is just as awesome:

Same here I find myself la-la-la-ing along every time! (cuz there's no way I'll be memorizing the words any time soon!) It's just a really catchy OP -- I like the ending for it too!
