Haru is one of the main characters in the story. At first he was shown to be a delinquent but as the story unfolds it was revealed that Haru was rather a shy and innocent boy, though he has bipolar tendencies, probably because he hasn't interacted with many people in the past.

Just watched this live and was impressed. It's pretty much exactly like the manga with the first opening chapters. I liked the portrayals of the voice actor/actresses as they play their roles as delinquents and tough guys well. There is a lot of comedy, drama, and even a little blood. The story seems to fresh too with no ecchi so that's something interesting.

Ya, good episode and series so far.

So looking forward to this anime XD

Just watched the first episode and i can honestly say that i loved it.

Had its goofy moments, but i can see the relationship starting to arise. xD

I can't wait to watch some more.

The manga starts very good, but starts to drag on in the typical shoujo way later on. Hope the anime changes that and actually gives in an decent ending.

All in all, was expecting this to be good anyway, so it met my expectations.

Hmmm... it sounds like I'll need to move this off of my "maybe" list and take a closer look at it. Hopefully, I can watch the episode in the next day or two, once I have some time.

Just watched the first episode and I really really like it. The art looks really good and I love it more than with other animes but I can't find what's different about it. The voices are a little different from what I imagined but still, it fits pretty well.

Looking forward to the next episode!

I jt watched the first episode and I loved it! I read the manga too and I was not dissapointed.

This will be my replacement for Binbougami ga this season

There were so many moments where I actually laughed out loud! Will totally be watching this show.

Strange show but I think I like it. Almost could have ended right there as a one shot.

Is that the official title of the show in English or did Crunchyroll make it up? I ask because kaibutsu also means enigmatic person which is closer to what Haru is than a monster. And there is no word for little in the title, maybe if it was kaibutsu chan or kaibutsuko... Tonari means next to or next door... Ah well. I guess "The enigmatic boy next door" isn't exactly catchy... Mysterious Boyfriend Y?
