Book 11 comes out on January 11th! So far they have followed the manga about as exactly as you can so chapter 17 should be what we see next unless the poor BD sales mean we get an anime rush ending. I sure hope not! I bought volume one of the BD and have preordered the rest aside from volume 7 that I forgot in my May order so I will order it later once I find something else to buy with it. Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide Chapters 17 and 18 have a lot more Natsume so I hope they can put both into episode 13 of the anime! You guys all realize that Natsume is 16 and Misawa is 25 right? Same age as the teacher, Saeko sensei...

When you're older it doesn't matter so much but that young it does or can. My wife's late grandfather was lying about his age when he was over 90, dating 80 year old women...

People fall in love at all ages regardless of age differences and you cant help who you fall in love with. Also isnt the legal age of consent in Japan much lower than it is in the US? And even if its not, Misawa only has to wait a couple years... Also 9 years isn't really that big of a deal.

It's probably about the same level to me, though I recognize that these scenarios are not uncommon. Really creepy, on the other hand, would be something like Picasso's love affair with a 17 year-old-girl when he was 47 and still married. While I think people should have the right to make their own decisions regarding love, it's far too easy for kids--not just girls--at that age to make mistakes or be manipulated by those older than them.

Was never in my dictionary when I was in high school but I did have a classmate who had a relationship with a professional guys and I don't know what happened to them after she eloped with him .I could not understand it. I have no idea what love between man and woman was lol now the younger generation are more aggressive when it comes to "love" . This anime really entertain me becuase I am seeing the process of how they fell in love. The same goes with the anime Suki-tte ii nayo .

That BD was quite reasonable as these go, ¥2960. The manga for Tonari no Kaibutsu kun are cheap too, ¥419 each but I understand. I was also a college student twenty years ago...
