I felt like I had heard it somewhere before, though, and It wasn't until recently I realized what it reminded me of -- the broadway production of Beauty and The Beast. @Zoniekial I was over thinking about Yamaken, trying to figure it out why If I felt that Shisuku needs to end with him but something feelt weird about it. Reviewing his character, he is good looking, every girl in town likes him, he goes for a study bug and he is over confident he can have her... then a bell rang.. He is GASTON!!! >____< bad mental Image ... is not of my favorite characters... So I follow you, this is totally a new version of Beauty and the beast in disguise. I was a liitle heart broken I got the feeling this anime was something original and fresh, I feel deceived U_U .

I bought the CD single for it, "Q & A recital" and for the ED "White Wishes" too! Next, I often say there are no original stories so it is all about the execution. I think this one was done very well even if it sort of is the shojo adaptation of The Beauty and the Beast. Again too bad the anime didn't get further as there is a lot more about Yamaken to come. EDIT: Well, head to head Sukitte beat Tonari in manga sales! Wasn't expecting that! http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2013-01-16/japanese-comic-ranking-january-7-13 Tonari has handily beat it in BD sales though it isn't doing great either.
