Sales of the anime were ~2500 discs which doesn't cover the costs. Manga sales first week for volume 11 look to be about double that of volume 10 with both released on a Friday for comparable sales. Combined, maybe that is enough. I sure hope so! The manga is really good though! I strongly encourage fans to read it. That is where Robico says what she wants to say about all the characters. |

I really, really hope there is a 2nd season.
I watched this and Sukitte Iinayo around the same time and they're similar (like Kimi ni Todoke), lonely girl falls in love with boy, etc etc. But I enjoyed this one SO MUCH, it was my favorite of the 3. I felt like the protagonist was more fleshed out; in Sukitte Iinayo I kept wondering what was so interesting about Mei, she had no personality. I want to see more Haru & Shizuku. |
