It is selling well too! The latest tenth volume seems to be sold out though most people here are reading, cough, online... But I am reading the actual original books. The eleventh volume comes out on January 11 2013. The anime is only in the fourth volume IIRC, thus you will need to hope for season two or read the manga to find out what happens. The manga is really good., Edit: hopefully improved manga sales are enough to warrant a second season as BD 1 sales were not spectacular, less than 3200 units, didn't rank /15. One episode for ¥3100 discounted ¥4200 sticker just didn't sell that much though the cheaper DVD edition did OK, over 1200 units... I bought the fan book for ¥750... Which is included with the BD. Why didn't I buy the BD??? It comes with a Mitty and Haru duet CD too... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ : o I might be really interested in reading the manga then, I'll look it up for sure. It's nice that theres more to the story too, I'm really liking how the story is going, I like that it makes a lot of sense story wise, even Haru's overreactions are well though; and it's nice to hear they have more since theres so much explaining they have left besides the developments in the story they may add (I say may since i haven't read the manga yet lol). And lol!! Imma look up what the Mitty & Haru duet is like... and hehe online reading... I wish the volumes in Japanese could be cheaper, shipping costs add a considerable amount : / and I hope it does really well on sales. Closer than Sukitte for sure.

But there's someone else interested in her, and she has no clue, yet... But if you're perceptive, you already noticed him by this point. It doesn't help that he's quite tsundere toward her, and not very forward about it, either. This particular triangle is set on a slow simmer for a good chunk of the story.

I like it too. They are trying to develop the other characters in this title becuase they affect both the main protagonist , but there were episodes that seem to slow down the progress of the stroy . I have not read the manga either so I hope the story has a good closure. .

It's only a month away but already Xmas in Tonari-Kun.. I lol'd @ Natsume this episode - both her comedic and strange reactions. The interactions between Haru and Kenji were also nice to watch although something serious was coming up. Overall, a nice episode again imo.

That was, interestingly, the first time I've been legitimately concerned about Haru's brand of insanity. I get the feeling he would actually go through with it, and it's kind of scary to realize just how fucking nuts that kid is. On a brighter note, I've discovered that Angry Shizuku is almost as awesome as Judgmental Shizuku.

That being said I do hope the anime will go past just one season. I wasn't sure I would like this show but after watching the first 3 I was hooked then began reading the manga.

There should be 3 episodes left, and every one so far has been great. Its about time Mitty reconfessed her love for Haru, and if Yamaken knows whats good for him, he'll stop teasing Haru about her. Natsume is adorable too, and I agree she should get with Sasayan.

I'd say it was one of the best episodes so far, believe it or not. I don't know why, don't you think the characters were much more...interesting? I loved it too, great criss crossing crushes between the characters. Haru indeed acting like the monster beside Shizuku today. Natsume so cute, poor Yamaken and Ooshima. BTW, I picked up BD #1 of the show. The Haru and Shizuku cover of the 1994 song Ai ga umareta hi, the day love was born is great! Haven't even watched the Blu - ray yet but I've already listened to the song three times LOL...
