I love Hakaze and her current tsundere cuteness *.* Can't wait to see next week's episode since this series just keeps getting better and better.

So, I was thinking about the recent revelations and stuff in this show and...
Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide What if Aika was the Mage of Exodus and she killed herself for some reason. The magic would point to her as being the culprit when it was in fact, a suicide. Not much is known about Aika's death, but that's such an odd position to be in if you've been murdered. (Sitting sideways on a chair like that) I guess the body could be positioned as such prior to rigor mortis but it's a little fishy to me. Or maybe magic was enough to contort her body into a peaceful looking position, but I'm still skeptical. You ask, who is that other guy that thinks he's the Mage of Exodus then? Not sure, maybe the power is passed from person to person after death. It's "magic" after all. Idk. That theory of mine is pretty far fetched but who knows? |

Why, Bertholdt?!

I'd say at this point, there's obviously something up with Yu-chan. The fact that they haven't even given us a picture of her and refuse on giving us any specifics on her makes me very suspicious.
Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide I think what Yoshino hit on talking about mankind's ability to adapt is very interesting, and one I'd very much agree with. War, starvation, and death are things that already fill today's world, yet people ignore them. The same happens with the Tree of Genesis. That's because when people realize there's nothing they can really do about something, they just kind of accept it and move on with their lives. This also somewhat ties into the discussion Samon and Mahiro had. While most people when faced with an immense problem will simply turn away and say "there's nothing I can do," those two are an exception. They're the kind of people who'd rather die fighting for their causes, even if they turn out to be unsuccessful in the end. Hakaze was very tsundere in this episode and thus also very cute. While Junichiro's idea about Hakaze's relationship with Yoshino really doesn't apply, Hakaze doesn't know this, and it will be interesting to the way this idea shapes her further interactions with Yoshino. Also, Hanemura's comment to Mahiro was awesome. |

I like your theory, but why are we assuming that there can be only one Mage of Exodus? Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide Since Hakaze is the princess of the Tree of Genesis and the most powerful of her clan, why shouldn't the same be true of the mages for the Tree of Exodus? What if Aika is the princess? Couldn't she use her power to fake her death? Normal doctors wouldn't be able to see past the magic, only other mages. I really think Yu is really Aika. That's why we haven't seen her picture. It was so much fun seeing Hakaze flustered in this episode. |

Click to show or hide Yu is Aika but I think that there is only one Mage of Exodus, she transferred her powers to that other guy and faked her death somehow and that this is all being manipulated by her in the end |

Another good episode. The bit with the Mage of Exodus was really flashy, and made me remember just how great the music for this series is, OPs and EDs, not withstanding. I really hope an OST for the series comes out soon.
Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide The talk with Aika about believing in irrational things surprised me, but what she seems to more or less be asking Yoshino is would there ever be a point where his own emotions would override his logic, thus why she used herself as an example. That arrow under his eye guy(sorry, forgot his name) may have a point, but what Yoshino did and the way he acted was most certainly in earnest, maybe it's possible the Tree of Exodus is subconsciously influencing him? Or is that arrow guy just jumping to conclusions and making up conspiracy theories that could lead to a confrontation with Hakaze and Yoshino, vs. everyone else? Who isn't? |
