also 12 episode would fall as one season ... but it feels like the story about Makishima and Kogami is getting close to a conclusion ... not unless Makishima hides again...

Episode 11... Wow. That was intense.

Click to show or hide I kind of felt like that guy would have a clean Psycho-Pass, but I thought maybe it was because he didn't really have any "intention" of killing -- he just liked to watch others do it. I guess that test on Akane shows otherwise. Either way, it will be interesting to see what happens to her Psycho-Pass in the meantime.
I think this show has finally hit its stride, and I expect it to get even better in the weeks to come. I feel like the next couple of weeks will focus on Tsunemori's mental stability, and she will have some major questions to think about. It would be kind of nice to get some episode previews at the end of the show, but on the other hand, the anticipation is nice too. Regardless, next week can't come fast enough. |

well that seemed like it would be a good place to call a first season done with. I guess a wrap up episode is due for next week? or maybe it'll jsut go into more episodes... who knows... either way, loving it.

I'm pretty sure the show is already scheduled to air at the same time as always, so the only thing that would slow it down is if Funi doesn't sub it quick enough. If it were scheduled to air on Christmas or even the day after, then maybe I'd worry about it, but most jobs don't let you take an entire week off for a holiday. Also, Funi's site still has it scheduled to release on time, which shows that they think they can get it done on time. With that said, shit happens. If it's delayed then it's delayed and there's nothing I can do. I'll just wait a couple of days, even anxious as I am.

Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide This show is good. I'll say that much. What I'll also say is that if you've seen the movie Minority Report, this show has similarities to the Tom Cruise movie. It does eliminate the precog future reading of a perp, for a instant psycho analysis. It also has the same flaw as the movie that, that the idea of watching the perps in waiting and deals with them, but there is a fundamental flaw that slaps down the psycho-pass technology that it's not a 100% accurate because of this Shogo guy. |

Of course I wish Akane had been able to drop her Dominator and shoot the shotgun properly but alas, that is not her character. Kogami would have had no difficulty I'm sure.
Will be interesting to see how it affects her but I think Akane's special ability is that her psycho-pass does not become cloudy no matter what she sees. Her nemesis on the other hand has a psycho pass which is backwards, the more evil he gets the clearer it becomes.

The writting, the voice acting of this anime is just amazing.
I was on the edge of my chair as I watch this episode.... I never saw that one coming .... although it was getting set up now that I think back about it.
NOw I know for sure that the entire series will end as in the opening scene of episode 1 ..

Damn! I thought it was a possibility that Funimation wouldn't update their schedule, but didn't feel like verifying the schedule they posted. I guess with all things considered, I ought to stop trusting Funimation to be accurate with their scheduling. Thanks for the info, at least now I'll be a little prepared. Any idea whether or not the Japanese air dates are the same? I checked both Fuji TV and Noitamina's English sites, but couldn't find a broadcast schedule to verify, and I don't really trust ANN all that much (although they show that it will air next week). I'm wondering whether there might be fansubs earlier, but I don't think Funi would take off two weeks unless the Japanese broadcast is taking two weeks. Plus it looks like most of the other shows are only delayed a week, or a couple of days.
Edit: Actually, I just realized I can use Google Translate with the Japanese Fuji TV schedule, and it looks like Psycho-Pass is indeed not airing next week in Japan.
