The latest EP is just so good.So many things explained.Im doing a spoiler but the modern Rubik's Cube is just cool.
Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide The detectives filed a complaint about the Dominator not working with the higher ups at Public Safety Bureau's Criminal Investigation Division. and was revealed to Ginoza about a similar related case where the Dominator failed. It was really a good look at the Crime Coefficient./hue,Sybil System and the DOMINATOR.Then Akane agrees to a Memory Scoop to get a pic of Makishima despite all saying it would ruin her Psycho Pass. She got through it just barely. After that Ginoza says she is a true detective.Ginoza then talks about Akane's hue not clouding with Tomomi( surprise his father) who was an inspector but his hue got clouded because his hue couldnt adapt to the Sybil System.Just so much infro/political modes were revealed |

Good episode and I like the new OP! New ED... not so much, too bad.
Lots of talking in this one but some things explained at least. Hopefully more action next week. |

Great episode.
Anyone else get the impression that... Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide Ginoza's boss knows Makishima? Her comment at the end really gave me that impression. And just maybe Akane's hue can't get clouded, just like Makishima. |

I have one request please don't check out the Cyberpunk 2077 trailer and then complain that the game rips off this show. It doesn't if anything it's the other way around but a more accurate description would be to say it draws water from the same well.
If you don't know what I'm talking about... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P99qJGrPNLs&list=PLxWw6SgdaHIE3MKyP1DbIvIKXRaRHT0nA&index=2 |

Love this show! I wish the episodes would come out faster. Ep. 12 was kind of a behind the scenes filler episode

I don't know about Ginoza's boss knowing Makishima, but I do agree that Akane's hue might not get clouded just like Makishima. Like for example in Ep. 11 she just saw her friend die in the last episode and her hue isn't clouded! |

Gotta build up the characters before they all get brutaly murdederd and she goes ape shit. This show has a very similiar feel to Ghost in the Shell if you ask me. And did I miss something or was Ginzo's dad that guy with the metal arm???? |

She was having this werid expression in her face at the end scene and then she said the line, " they finally identified you..... Shougo kun" , she called him by his first name. Japanese dont call someone with their first name not unless they have relationship of sort. And GInoza's father of all people....Matsuoka san....I always wonder about him and I was suspecting those thing when he talked to Akane in episode 2 and i believe in other episodes...no wonder why Ginoza did not act violently towards him in response to what he did in episode 10 but reacted to him negatively and angrily in episode 3 which didnt make sence And Akane is indeed like Makishima with regards to their Psycho pass. Indeed there were many things revealed in this episode . |

I thought episode 14 was pretty good, in a fairly disturbing way.
Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide I found the crowd's reaction to the murder on the street sufficiently disturbing. For me, that reaction is the scariest thing I've seen in this dystopian future. Whether or not that reaction is realistic, the discussion about society built on doubt vs trust was a fairly interesting point. |

Excellent episode. And the soundtrack was great too.

And I think there's plenty of evidence to show that the reactions are realistic. Even more so for that society than our own. |

I'm not sure whose side I am suppose to sympathize with; I agreed with Makishima's ideology but not his methods. . . however, there are times where violence becomes a necessity in order to bring forth the revelation of "truth" to the people or change.
I realized that there is something eerily wrong with the people of Psycho-Pass.* To quote Ben Franklin, they who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Not that I entirely agree with Ben Franklin but Makishima is right that the citizens of the Psycho-Pass world have, in some ways, gave up their rights for a sense of security. I don't think they don't deserve liberty or safety but that they need to see what their world really is. Seeing the Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide central cast make remarks about their own society and the people within it was very refreshing. I like to see that there are "humane" characters in this messed up world unlike the "sheep" that roam the city. It's an interesting case to see people who protect their society despite how flawed they may think it is. *Maybe I shouldn't be so surprised. The Bystander Effectappears to be quite common in everyday life. |
