I'm pretty sure she(Akane) is in the role of the 'naive detective new to the reality of the world' type of character. Makes sense really.

Agreed, she seemed out of place at first but I too have grown to like Akane.

Hmmm....well considering I watched the first 15 episodes over a period of 3 days it does seem like the body count is rising, but it's just the nature of the anime I think. I mean there is not much continuity in the story except for the dynamic between Kogami and Makishima but the show is fun. Akane is more comic relief than anything to me! I can pretty much see how this is gonna play out though. In terms of shock effect, Higurashi When They Cry was better with its psychological aspect.

Taken in consideration where Akane chan is coming from , that was pretty much what she can do at that given moment.
I cant wait to see how this anime ends , we got 6 episodes left.
Episode 16 was indeed a masterpiece worthy of an academy award

This anime keeps better and better, the tease at the end is the sign of what is to come next. I am hoping that they reveal in the next episode what Kagari-san saw. I can't take this, the anticipation and excitement is killing me. Part me of me want to be optimistic and hope that Kagari survived somehow, but Urobi-sensei is notorious for killing off characters which makes me sad because he is the balance for Kogami and Gino whom both seem to be cold and serious.

I watched the episodes again and I believe Kagari is dead, the Dominator changed to more than the lethal eliminator mode without saying its actual mode, its like a third mode

Have to say this has proven to be an amazing series. Definitely on my Buy List
have a bad feeling about what they saw before their untimely demise.
I'm curious to see what Akane's psycho pass is like next episode. She seems to have a Will of Iron in these situations, and at this point I would hate to see it crumble

The Bluray right now is about 60-70 $ plus shipping with 3 episode eadh ...takai !!!
I think her Pshycho Pass heals fast as seen in previous episodes , so I dont think its going to be an issue.

I think she's in danger.
Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide Here Psycho-Pass is probably fine, but if she's like Makishima then she may, if the theory is correct, be a candidate to be incorporated into Sybil. After all, Sybil picked her to be an Inspector.

The second Kogami told him not to be reckless, I knew he was going to die.
(...and all this time I thought Masaoka would die first. . .)
the one thing that is disappointing me is that you had this flashback episode about how Yayoi became an enforcer and she's barely been on the show since.

Yeah, it's disappointing because she's an interesting character. Maybe we'll see more of her later on?

I think Yayoi will be playing a bigger role if Kagari dies. Not saying I'm sure he has died, but it would make since for her to pick up on some of his attention time if he did.
