About the Shikokan, we learn about them slowly.Though some has more speaking parts that others.
Yayoi had her own episode and if you watch closely the very first few episodes there are clues about her . We learn more about Matsuoka with all his conversations with Akane and Ginoza , As for KOgami , we learn about him from the senior members and during the episode about Yayoi , as for Kagari we only knew about his past in episode 2 from his converation with Akane chan. The deaths that shocked me the most was when Akane's 幼なじみ osananajimi was killed by Makishima , I wasnt expecting that . That was the first time we saw Shougo killed someone with his own hands. And with Kagari, when that Dominator changed from paralizer to Eliminator form , I gasp and said Oh no. Episode 16 was slowly leading to that scene since we are aware that our favorite writer has a tendecy to kill off one of the main characters And when Kagari kept saying and even repeating it " Sensei, this looks really dangerous " , I knew something was going to happen to him, I wont be surprised if that mode was higher than the Eliminator and there are no remains whatsoever. |

And all the cards are now on the table.
My thoughts about what the Sybilis system was were not only confirmed but then made worse than I thought The series is entering the home stretch now |

And I wasn't the least bit surprised by Makishima's decision. One week is too long to wait! |

That was a lot to digest. What a great episode. I hope this gets dubbed in the future so I can add it to my collection.
Wow... Just wow. |

My jaw just dropped when I saw the true nature of Sybil System which is hundreds of brains in jars. I had an inkling that what is operating Sybil but I never thought I would be spot on. Honestly, this show never fails to amaze me, just when I thought the show can't get anymore interesting, Urobi-sensie always throw a curveball, that gives off a spine-tingling twist. Alas, all of the pieces are gathered, I can't wait to see who would be checkmate. Another bombshell, I was really surprised at was how Kouzaboro Touma's brain is in the cyborg chief. I knew there is a reason why I hated that hag and I am happy that she was killed in the most brutal way by Makishima. One thing that I am puzzled/surprised with is how physically fit and strong Shogo Makishima given his slender physique, not that I am saying it's impossible, but man the way he kills people with his bare hands is scary and impressive at the same time.

On a slightly different note, I really like the "new" OP, but every time I listen to it I am strongly reminded of Maserati.

Damm a lot of things are revealed but then it gets more interesting ...episode 17 ... 5 more to go
Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide So the chief is ....just a.....and then...its like "we are one but we are individuals" as in the Borg collective..... lol . The concept of the Sybil system is crazy , Urobuchi sensei is good....Just awesome. Anyway I assume there are other android bodies since the plane crashed but who knows the chief was in there too or maybe there is one at the Ministry of Welfare already., the one that talked to Ginoza. I would say Shougo has the phone now. And since he called Kogami he must have accessed the files as well before he crashed the plane. I really love the voice acting in this anime . Seki san is amazing in a lot of ways here.I met him couple years ago and have a pic with him , at that time I was just starting to watch anime and I didnt know him that well but from watching him all these years ,I am not use to hearing Tomokazu in a very serious role .But I really love his delivery a lot, its sound so natural. He really is acting as the character behind the mic. I am glad he got this lead role. I hope he gets recognized for it . His speaking voice has a higher pitch compared to Ko chan.Damm everytime I say Ko chan , I hear Kagari in my head calling Kogami that way. The seiyuu for the chief, Sakakibara is pretty good in her coldness . I always admire Sakurai san , he has got one of the awesome flat delivery ever , not very easy to do and the tonal quality of his recorded whispery voice , its just captivating ...compared to his speaking voice, it almost as Misaki or Yuri in Kyou Kara Maoh (in 2004 where I first noticed him ) . Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide I knew the moment the Touma said " it will done here before we get to the Ministry of Welfare" that he sure made a big mistake. So the chief is indeed a cyborg with many ghost so to speak ...lol |

Taking a break from gardening .
I cant wait for thursday. Lets see what happens next. Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide I too question the strength of Makishima has in physical fights. His physique is indeed slender and more delicate when compared to Ko chan. Its a mystery to me |

I didnt say he is weak.
In Aikido you easily break joints when the motion is correct even when an Aikidokan is small and slender and which is why Karate and Kendo are cool for competition and not Aikido. Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide But Makishima was breaking them in a forceful manner which requires a lot of initial force at resting point. During the fight against Kogami , he used a combi martial arts. I can see some Kick Boxing, Muytay, kung-fu, some grapling moves ....in where he used Kogami's momentum to get him off balance, and manipulate his next move so he can hit Ko chan at the critical areas and he is very flexible and agile. It shows that he has a lot of training , so I am really curious to see an episode about Makishima's past. He is a very interesting antagonist.. |
