Agreed. Funny thing is if he hadn't said anything I wouldn't have been looking so hard for flaws LOL . Well I did notice some animation inconsistency of the characters looking abit off if thats what he meant because I actually got distracted by it. And theYchromosome, As of January I knew Funimation does not have the publishing rights to the show yet becuase thats what the Marketing staff ... (dang forgot her name , she is going to kill me if she remembers me lol )..... said and of course she said she wishes for it. . |

^I've always wondered given the tight schedule why people assume pristine broadcast of episodes. Heck, Shaft doesn't even have proper scenes, OP animations, ED animations on some of their shows during the broadcast run. If people want perfection that much, then buy the BDs imo.

Episode 18 was definitely a great episode. I am really impress at how Akane-chan's character evolved through out the show as we near the end, especially in this episode. I liked how she stood up for and save Kogami from his demise, she put the chief in her place. She showed courage and resolve while remaining professional about it. Just like what Koronomi said, " her cuteness hides her boldness", I could not agree more.

To know if you edited or not, it'll say something like this post I'm making right now. Posted 5 minutes ago, edited 8 seconds ago. ~ Like that. So it'd look something like this: azncutie wrote: Posted 3 hours ago, edited 10 minutes ago Episode 18 was definitely a great episode. Just like what Koronomi said, " her cuteness hides her boldness", I could not agree more. I am glad that I am not the only one that notice the bad quality of the art for episode 18. I guess it can't be helped sometimes since they have a set deadline they need to meet, and I do understand that sometimes it is hard to have a perfect copy of the character drawings every episode. Needless to say, regardless of the one time animation fluke this anime's story is still good and will keep getting better till the end. Sa minasan, four more episodes to go. Any predictions on how this anime will end? Anyone already feeling the blues as the impending conclusion comes near? Anyone wants to see OVA, movie, or perhaps a season 2? As for what you're talking about - yes, I agree. Episode 18 was a great episode, it showed how much Akane has come along in the story up to this point and her growing "maturity", if you will. That is, she's becoming more accustomed to her job and making decisions for herself, becoming less naive about the world, etc. Yes, they have a deadline to keep and as I said in a previous post the animation directors most likely don't have enough time to properly check and polish the animation before it airs. It wasn't a one time animation fluke, the "poor" quality is also present in previous episodes like Episodes 17 and 16. I put "poor" in quotes because it's very good, despite minor slipups - but again, those can't be avoided no matter how good the studio working on a project. I don't have any clear predictions thus far on how it will end, well obviously one is Akane growing as a character and learning to be more assertive and independent. Maybe after Episodes 19 or 20 I'll have a clearer picture - or maybe one with be shown to us. No, can't say I feel any blues as the conclusion of the show draws near. On the contrary, I'm very happy as I got to experience this wonderful show (I hope they dub it, I would like to see who the cast consists of). I think this one season is enough for this show, maybe a prequel movie or ova, but not a second season. |

Yeah , I dont think a whole entire season is necesseary , an OVA or 2 is fine.
This anime feels like a movie already and can be made into a full feature film with just more editing but it will be a long movie and I bet it will do well in the foreign market, you just need a very famous person to endorse it. |

When it finishes airing we should all make English dub cast roles.
Maybe someone will see them and be like, these people have the right idea! Yeah know.. maybe |

I found this on the Psycho Pass Funimation forums:
http://www.funimation.com/psycho-pass/forum/funimation-shows/and-more/psycho-pass/home-video-rights-for-psycho-pass/7431471 The Post: EyeofPain wrote: So, it sounds like FUNimation has acquired home video, among other, rights in regards to the currently streaming noitaminA series, Psycho-Pass: source (the relevant portion of the panel begins around 10:14, and the phrase "[...]recently acquired full rights" is stated not long after that). However, it doesn't look like ANN has picked up on this news, and there's nothing about it mentioned in the News section of FUNi's website. With the announcement leaking at such a low-key panel at a smaller convention, I guess it's not that surprising it got overlooked with the Fam news capping off the panel. Here's the source he was talking about: http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/29314084 And the News Section on Funi's website: http://www.funimation.com/news |

I hope Makashima succeeds with what he wants. He seems to be the only reasonable person. I wouldn't want to live in a world like that.

These are my thoughts in regards to EP.19
Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide First, the "Sybil collectives" motive to tell Akane the truth about the Sybil system is so they can convince her to join them, since her psycho-pass hue is hard to cloud they need a person like Akane. Second, I think they are going to brainwash her by making her believe that Kogami escaped because he joined forces with Makishama. Third, I think they are going to use her as a pawn, to do the dirty work for them, to kill Kogami since he is a threat to their plan of keeping Makishima safe Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide Now, as for Makishima's plan to destroy the Sybil System, no society itself from the inside out by ruining the food supply which in this case is the hyper-oats is brilliant, as a result it will cause mass panic which means it will raise the area stress level. Makishama's goal is to observe what actions will people take when a disaster occurs, he wants to test if people are willing to act on their own free-will to do whatever it takes in order to survive, just like the saying "desperate times calls desperate measure". He wants to awaken people soul that they have longed given up by shaking the very foundation that the people have blindly accepted. By taking away their sense of safety and comfort, Makishima will be able to accomplish his goal the collapse of society. Makishama is truly a clever, impressive, and frightening man |
