Click to show or hide Set in a world where history has taken a slightly different course from the one we're familiar with, K follows the story of a young boy whose life is caught in a psychic war between seven kings. Ashinaka High School is known for its unique setting: the entire campus is built on an island. Yashiro Isana, aka Shiro, is having lunch with a cat on one of the school rooftops. After his lunch break, Shiro goes on an errand for his classmate Kukuri to prepare for their upcoming school festival, only to be chased by some intimidating-looking men. There's actually a manga called K: Memory of Red that has been published with one chapter translated so far after the series' announcement. This series kinda reminds me of DRRR! with its strange cast of characters. The visuals looks pretty good though and I liked the soundtrack so far. The OP song sounds catchy so might not skip it this season. Only 13 episodes though but hopefully they'll be worth to watch.

One typically won't find anything from them until the simulcast has actually started. Since it doesn't begin until Thursday, I certainly wouldn't expect anything at this point.

StrawbberryDeath 1166 cr points Send Message: 18 / M Offline	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 10/4/12 I've realized that 'K' was quite hyped up before it's airing due to it's PV but after watching the first episode; it was slightly disappointing since it was mostly focused on the special effects of the fighting. The plot was quite messy and it didn't appear to have an actual sense of plot to follow yet but I'd speculate that the second episode will most likely be able to fill in most of the gaps that were created in the first episode. So I still cannot judge whether or not, the production of this anime was appealing or not to me. Nonetheless the PV created a high degree of expectations and these expectations were not met at all in the first episode, maybe the rest of the episodes will meet them eventually or not.

Absolutely nothing was really explained, stuff just happened, and it looked awesome and all, but it was confusing At least after reading the description I've got a basic idea, but still.... Hope they'll give some more explanations on what's happening next episode, this series has some great potential.

I guess the societal standards still see females as the opposite of a male rather than seeing them as an analogous compliment to the male. Then again, I maybe wrong again. "LAWL" (I can see why the word "reverse" would be used for "reverse osmosis". Though, it kinda gets silly when people use that word "reverse" for like "reverse rape" when it is just plain rape regardless.) It kinda feels like that I have to post a mot about this somewhere here or something. "LAWL"

Given the premise as well as being an original anime (as the series made its announcement debut before the manga has been serialized from what I've heard), I hope the story will play out fine. Now, I'm wondering if anyone checked out the episode titles of the series yet. All of them begins with "K" and I wonder if it has any meaning... Anyone the first episode was alright imo. I actually have mixed feelings for it as it was somewhat confusing. However, that eargasmic soundtrack and the stunning visuals were worth the watch. Also, Neko is sort of hot.. The OP song was catchy and given the premise, I'm pretty interested on the upcoming plot.
