[UPDATE]
While we announced the acquisition of Dog Days season 1 some time ago, it's FINALLY ready for release and your viewing pleasure!
All episodes are now available for premium users and free users will get four per week.
Thanks for your patience and enjoy~!

Hey everyone,

Another day, another announcement! As some of you have correctly deduced, we will indeed be streaming Medaka Box 2 this fall! Medaka Box 2 will be launching on Crunchyroll starting next Thursday, October 11, at 11:35pm PDT for our premium members, with availability to free members coming a week later at the same time on October 18.

Medaka Box 2 will be available for the following regions: U.S., Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

Kurokami Medaka was victorious in the battle against the disciplinary committee chairman, Unzen Myouri. Now a new battle has begun at Sandbox Academy with the introduction of the Flask Plan. Medaka receives a new commission from the school chairman, Hakama Shiranui, asking her to participate in the project in light of Unzen's removal from the battle front.

Hakama Shiranui's ambition is to artificially manufacture geniuses: "For the sake of convenience, I call it the Flask Plan." Once she learns all the details of the Flask Plan, Medaka makes a decision: "Zenkichi, I'm going to exercise my authority as the Student Council President. I will crush the Flask Plan by the end of the day!"

Even though we don't have any more scheduled announcements, we DO still have more titles coming down the pipeline(emails are flying around like crazy right now during launch season!), so keep checking Crunchyroll! Who knows, we may just announce a title that you've been eagerly awaiting!

EDIT: The number of question marks is not indicative of how many more announcements we have left. It's just easier to write than to put multiple ones. ;)

Why the ???s beside the next date? Leaves me with ominous dread there won't be many more than this minimal slate, sadly. Also, obvious CR pickup is obvious...

Found this series to be ok at first; then it induced me into a rage with what they did with the end.

When she starts doing blatant god-modeing. And then her "flaw" (which I got the arrogant impression that the writer(s) thought made the character more realistic), when she gets mad and god-modes even more.

When you start rooting for the "bad guys," because they are doing everything better then the "good guys" (I mean that one guy out-maneuvered, out-thought, out-strategized the girl several times ans still lost), you know there is something very wrong with the plot/characters.

In fact, the only character I liked out of that entire series was the "bad guy," because he was the only person who had a personality even close to real.

So the odds of getting Kamisama Kiss or Sukitte ii na yo are getting much lower. Not good

I hear ya, I'm hoping for Sukitte ii na yo as I'm following the manga, but Kamisama Kiss seems to be the more popular choice. Both would be great but I just dont see it happening now. Besides those, theres still ALOT more I want added. Who knows, maybe Crunchyroll will surprise us..

Wow, not many shows this season. Is this going to be a new trend?

Don't think the "less" shows in pick up is any trend really. First off there are plenty of Reaccuring series this season. Granted there is more out there. The Fall season as a whole is a lot smaller than Spring and Summer, so overall there is less to grab. There will probably be 2-3 more series picked up, they just don't have announcent dates for them as they are "still in progress"

23 Series for this season is not Small by any standard.

a lot of the shows from last season are continuing, like Sword Art Online, Hunter X Hunter, Space Brothers, and Total Eclipse. Plus Gintama and Hayate we're series that had proven they're success before both getting past 50 episodes. Add all this together and it's no surprise if they've drained their wallets. Also Medaka box Abnormal and Magi could both become long running series. while availability might not be the best for non-Americans, Crunchyroll chose really well this season, and so long as they are able to hold the streaming rights, they could be really set for a good year in continuing series. Good job Crunchyroll!
