I absolutely loved the first season of Medaka Box, I'm glad to see more of it! I didn't think we'd get it so soon. Personally, I think it's a good candidate to be a long-running show. I'd like to see that, but having already done one break tells me that the people that control that don't have such plans >_<

Excellent news given that this series is going places although the regions they got it for are... strange, given CR's region streaming trends.

Found this series to be ok at first; then it induced me into a rage with what they did with the end.

When she starts doing blatant god-modeing. And then her "flaw" (which I got the arrogant impression that the writer(s) thought made the character more realistic), when she gets mad and god-modes even more.

When you start rooting for the "bad guys," because they are doing everything better then the "good guys" (I mean that one guy out-maneuvered, out-thought, out-strategized the girl several times ans still lost), you know there is something very wrong with the plot/characters.

In fact, the only character I liked out of that entire series was the "bad guy," because he was the only person who had a personality even close to real.

That's the point though, it's a parody of shonen battle manga, although that won't become apparent until later... or for some people, never.

So looking at the fall schedule, definitely looking forward to continuing Medaka Box, trying this new version of Hayate, and likely going to give Magi and My Little Monster a go while maybe screening a few more to see if they'll be added to the queue. Looking good while continuing the 2 Naruto series, Poyopoyo and Polar Bear Cafe.

Yup. Four of those were Sentai sublicenses, including Medako Box 2, and Sentai doesn't seem to be getting European rights outside of Northern Europe, so they would be expected to show up in southern Europe ...

... but 3 out of 7 direct streaming licenses across Europe is still not a very good hit rate, and then one of the three had Spain and Italy carved out.

Hopefully some more worldwide ex-Japan or worldwide ex-Asia licenses are part of the ongoing negotiations they discuss in the announcement.

So the odds of getting Kamisama Kiss or Sukitte ii na yo are getting much lower. Not good :(

I can see maybe why they wont get kamisama, because Viz licensed the manga so I'm sure there are issues there but the one I really want is Sukitte ii na yo which airs the 6th so maybe there is some hope that they will get it. If CR doesn't I dont think I have a reason to keep my premium membership for the fall lineup.

K was licensed by Viz in the United States, and Anime on Demand in the UK.

If you are in the U.S., Viz already has the first episode available on Hulu:

It appears Anime on Demand also has the first episode available now:

Don't jump to conclusions if the 6th comes and goes without word ~ remember what they said at the end of the today's announcement:

Even though we don't have any more scheduled announcements, we DO still have more titles coming down the pipeline (emails are flying around like crazy right now during launch season!), so keep checking Crunchyroll! Who knows, we may just announce a title that you've been eagerly awaiting!

It could easily take another week until all the dust has settled.

I have to say I'm a little disappointed at the small amount of series that CR has picked up for Q4 2012, especially compared to Q3 2012. But if the Fall Season is indeed smaller than other quarters of the year than its fine. And if CR is getting a lot more competition from other U.S. distrubters then we just have to deal with it. CR is big in terms of anime streams but it does have competition from Anime News Network from that department, as well as the companies that actually make the DVDs and blu-rays of these series like Viz etc.

I'm not as hard core an anime fan as many other subscribers on this site. I don't really follow what is going on in Japan and the business of companies getting licensing rights etc in terms of the anime season and just watch nearly everything that CR is able to stream to get my money's worth for my paid subscription.

In terms of the second season of Medaka Box, I was disappointed with the first season because it seemed too similar to Sket Dance (which in a likely minority opinion, I did NOT enjoy and stopped watching after the first episode) in terms of being relatively plotless until the last few episodes. If the second season is going to be a more action and plot orientated then it will improve substantially in my eyes. I can't wait to see it next week.

Why the ???s beside the next date? Leaves me with ominous dread there won't be many more than this minimal slate, sadly. Also, obvious CR pickup is obvious...

Sorry, didn't mean to be misleading! The number of question marks is purely arbitrary. It has no relation to the number of titles left.

Is okay ^^. I was more wary of the fact it has been every day or other day (or weekdays) for announcements. Now the next one could be any day the rest of the month.
