Have had to turn to fansubs for the first time in a good long while.
Seeing Little Busters, it feels a lot like Angel Beats in tone and other shows that Crunchyroll has taken an interest in. It feels very much like those, light in tone and humor but with a sad edge but still cute type, that Crunchyroll often goes for. I would be very surprised if they didn't hammer out some sort of deal for streaming, even if it's delayed by a season or something from Funimation. It just seems like it would fit so well. Also, I desperately hope they do not pick up Busou Shinki. |

Jumping the gun a bit, aren't we? That isn't a fall 2012 title. Also, given that the first series was licensed by Funimation, it is highly unlikely CR would be able to get the second. They won't. Busou Shinki was one of the titles announced as a TAN exclusive (in North America; AoD has it in the UK). I am puzzled by why you would ever hope CR doesn't pick up a series. It isn't as if CR is going to run out of money and say, "Oops, can't license any more for this season", so why would you want to deny the series to those that might be interested, especially those overseas that wouldn't be served by TAN or Funimation? |

Sorry, it was more me feeling abject annoyance at the anime in tone and the fact it plays so obviously with fetishes when it could be so much more interesting than it is. Example Chobits or even Hand Maid May...which were interesting with the idea of these kinds of characters (robotic and small). This one just kinda feels like all which is wrong with modern anime and I wouldn't want them to be encouraged by a foreign license in any fashion to make more works like it. |

I seriously doubt it'll happen. They're lucky to be able to keep up any Fairy Tail at all, any other FUNi licensed titles are completely off of CR I beleive. |

So... is that it? I was hoping we get more popular ones.
Also since Sentai is part of CR's publisher crew, why doesn't it get the same titles? |

There are still three empty boxes left but the last post suggested they may be announced "some day in October". I'm hoping this week but no set day for the last three. |

With the lack of shows licensed for streaming this season, I'm about ready to unsubscribe my Premium Membership before my next billing cycle next week

Fairy Tail was licensed first by CR, and is an ongoing series. Funimation has licensed other series that CR has had licensed first, but I don't recall a single one being removed until after the series had ended its run. As for another example of a Funimation-licensed title that is still at CR: Asobi ni Ikuyo, which over at Funimation is known as Cat Planet Cuties. I agree that CR getting the second High School DxD series isn't extremely unlikely to happen. At the moment, I can't think of a single time where CR got the license to a second season of a series Funimation licensed first (not to be confused with series CR actually licensed for simulcast first, like Strike Witches and which Funimation licensed later). |

CR should have a poll and let the subscribers pick which anime they should license, and hopefully they get most of them.
Most of the ones I like are missing from the lineup: K (great VA cast, animation, and story) Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! (If CR wants more subscribers, this one should've been picked up, it's KyoAni! + also I like romance) Suki-tte Ii na yo (personal pick because it's romance) Little Busters! (The great Jun Maeda who also did Clannad, Angel Beats, Air and Kanon 06, where could you go wrong!) Robotics;Notes (might be one of the TBD, we might get because of Steins;Gate similarity) Psycho-Pass (also maybe one of the TBD, just guessing because it hasn't aired yet) Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo (another personal pick because of romance + cute characters, then again it is JC Staff producers...) But they made a couple good selections this season: My Little Monster (Great pickup!) BTOOOM! (so far so good) Magi? (overhyped? maybe, we'll see) Shin Sekai Yori (see BTOOOM!) Blast of Tempest (we'll see how far this one will go) Hiiro no Kakera 2nd Season (1st season was meh) Girls und Panzer (I'll decide everything on the 1st episode) The others I wasn't too interested in so I won't comment on them. |

Funimation announced 6 titles earlier, and what they don't have gives us a better idea of what those remaining boxes in CR's lineup could be:
