I always have a thing for cats.

They are easier to manage than dogs, quiet and extremely adorable. More than the activities they could share with you, cats are great source of comfort. These cuddly and affectionate kitties also help us feel far from being lonely and bored. Unfortunately, my parents are not a fan of them. I like most cat breeds in general but American Shorthair, Munchkin, Norwegian Forest, Turkish Angora are my favourite breeds of all time.

What about you guys?

I can't just choose one. I love ALL cats.

Okay I knew most of those breeds mentioned, but had to google Munchkin. Their backs look insanely long, do they have health problems because of that?

Not sure what my favorite breeds are I only own a Domestic Shorthair. Scottish Folds are really cute, but not sure how their temperament is. In terms of beauty Savannahs are really awesome, but I'm guessing they can be quite feral.

Out of the purebreds I like Egyptian Mau and Savannah. I know there's a third, but I can't place the name at the moment. Otherwise, I get strays...it's what the most I've had.

Yeah, Savannahs are bred like wolf-dogs. One part domestic and one part wild, so their personalities and behaviors can be unpredictable.

Ahh I see. Thought as much. Not sure I would want one of those then. Sounds like work.

Yeah, they would be a lot of work. Gorgeous to look at, but definitely not a family pet and needs an experienced owner.

I hear ya. Sometimes I wish cats would stay kittens forever, but would of course be some downsides to that.

I'm not a cat expert but I think it'll be fine since they have short and strong legs.

For the rest who want to catch a glimpse of a Munchkin kitten:

I don't care about breed. I just prefer energetic, normal cats.

They are always cute.

I really prefer cats to dogs any day of the week. Dogs are way too needy in my mind. Cats are independent. I've always looked at it like this- Dogs show affection because it is in their genes. Cats show affection because they want to.

As for breeds, I don't have any particular favorites. I recognize a few of them, but I've been drawn to the plain old fashioned "cat",. The kind where they have some of several breeds in their DNA.
