Since no one is streaming it, I assume either the committee member holding the international licensing rights simply didn't want to license it for simulcast, or simply asked too much money for it to be financially viable.

If I recall correctly, Warner Brothers was in charge of international licensing for both this and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

Wow is all I have to say (in a good way), looking forward to komari's past with her brother. "In The Town Of Incessant Rain" fit the ending very well too.

Guys, what are your opinions in this anime?

I am currently watching this but I can't find anything interesting in this series at all. From what I can see is that the story doesn't have a strong backbone. It feels similar to Clannad, the only thing in this series that makes me remember Angel Beats is its opening song (which is really good).

Please. Try to convince me that this anime is really good while I still continue to watch this and deciding to wether to drop this shit or continue watching.

From my point of view, Kanon, Clannad, and almost all of the Key works that I know of have one thing in common: girls with baggage.

Could be mental baggage, physical baggage, both, supernatural baggage, ... both..., {insert adjective} baggage, etc.

That's why I'm watching Little Busters!. I want to know what has happened in each girl's past that makes them integral to the whole story. That, and the fact that I know an anime based off a VN by Key isn't going to disappoint.

A production company can only do so much to try and ruin an adaptation, even if it's unintentional.

Personally, I think your dislike of the show comes from the fact that it's still ongoing: you have to wait a week for each episode instead of getting all the answers in one sitting. Though, I might be wrong.

Just my thoughts.

This might not as bad as I have thought. The protagonist on this series reminds me of the main protagonist in Kanokon. He's so whiny and keeps meddling with other girls with some "personal" problems that makes me want to punch him in the face. LOL

Loved the visual novel to death! I thought the anime could have been just as good as Clannad if done right (not as big of a tear jerker, but just as good).

Fuck J.C. Staff. You might think they're doing an okay job so far, but as of 9 episode in there's no way they're gonna do this series justice. Kyoto Animation would have made it even better than the game, PA Works and A-1 would have probably been pretty good choices too, but J.C. Staff these days is god awful.
The character exaggeration on Masato, the issues with pacing, the layout of the series itself, the dumb humor they try to ad in, the poor-handling of the gags and jokes... The list goes on for everything they're fucking up. If you haven't played the visual novel you might not have a problem with it, but trust me in that the game is much better, and I thought the Kanon and Clannad animes were better than their VN counterparts, so it's not just me being biased in that regards.

You're all better off finding and playing the visual novel instead.

Never played the VN so I don't know if the adaptation is good or not but so far I enjoy it. I like the art and characters and the romance, tragedy, music. Glad Crunchyroll finally got this!

Looking forward to the rest of it.

I've enjoyed the series so far and will probably continue to do so. I love the characters and the story just as I did Clannad/After Story and Kanon. Haven't read the VN and no real wish to do so but I look forward to the rest of the season.
