Has anyone ever gotten tired of being with a friend all the time? I'm going to college soon and I don't have many close friends at school right now...(Long story) I do have one good friend who is great! But I get tired of being around her all the time... I feel terrible about it... She can sometimes be so bosy sometimes or it always ends up being about what she wants to do. I feel like I follow her around like a puppy I don't have any other friends to hang out with so I can't be like see you later or hey I've got to go, so I can just get some space/alone time.

Please help me out! Is this normal? Or am i just a mean person sometimes?

That's the problem with having like one friend who you're with for like all your lessons, especially if they're extremely similar to you. You get sick of them soon. Happened to me, I'm still alright mates with him. He goes a different college though.

Well, it's not that your a mean person. It's like you said, "You get tired of being around her, she can be a bossy person at times."
Hmm, I'd suggest that if you really want your space then tell her you're going somewhere. ( - ^ - ^ - )
It's pretty normal, you get tired of things over time.

I'm like this too. No matter who I'm with, I will get tired of being in their presence if I stay with them too long. Applies to roomies, significant others, friends, etc. I need time along to recharge.

That doesn't make you a bad person, it seems you need a little break from her. :3
I only grow tired of being around a person if I find we have nothing in common.

Yeahh. We also don't have that much in common. We both like to have fun and do random things. Besides that thou nothing really. She's really into dance and all. I'm into manga/anime and I feel to awkward to even talk about it.... She is a good friend but just sometimes she can be too much.

It's normal to want to drift away for a bit. Just don't let that 'for a bit' turn into 'forever'

Don't worry. Future will come and you'll make many other friends in college, particularly in university where you'll meet people of your own caliber. Besides, if you want friends, then don't be afraid to make them; if you want to hang out, then arrange it; someone has to put the effort in or else no one will. If you want something then you've got to get it yourself, no one's going to do it for you.

The reason you follow her is simply because you haven't hit your stride yet. You don't have enough confidence. You have to slowly build up and be a stronger person. When you've become strong, people will follow you instead of you following them.
