I have an Asus Transformer Infinity which runs on stock Jelly bean. The Crunchyroll application no longer works. I believe this is because it was dependent on Adobe Flash, which is no longer supported by both Adobe .. AND Google for anything 4.1+. This is also the reason why the most recent phones and other popular tablets (Google Nexus 7) do not support Crunchyroll.

If I understand this correctly, the industry has decided to go away from Flash, and is now switching to JS and HTML5. Why has Crunchyroll not made the switch and what is to be done for people such as myself that have spent more time watching anime on my mobile devices than on the computer? What can we possibly do?

I doubt CR was using Flash for the Android app, as if they had done so, they would have been able to immediately offer HD streams, and the streams on Android would support soft subtitles instead of having them hard encoded.

The only CR app I am aware of that used Flash was the one for the Boxee Box.
