I was totally expecting Rikka to kiss him, but then she does that instead. xD The whole 2nd half of the episode was squee-worthy.

That isn't very cool. I hadn't watched the episode before you posted that. Spoiler tags are ftw. Anyways to the above posts: If you aren't really into moe Kyoto Animation slice of life shows, then I doubt you'll end up loving this one as well. I think that it's worth at least an couple of episodes of viewing though before giving up on it. The companion short web videos that are accompanying this season really helps to flesh out the characters as well in a very amusing way. I actually had watched the first couple of those before I even watched episode 1, and it really helped generate initial interest in the show for me.

As Balzak said, if youre not a fan of kyoani squee fodder, then you're probably not going to like the show at all. But I think its generally unfair to stop watching a show after the first ep and call it quits.

I mean, I loved the 1st season of Haruhi and the movie. some of the 2nd season were good. I loved Lucky Star.. but after a few episodes of K-On!, I just couldn't really watch any more.

I don't think that Chunibyuu is comparable to it. I mean I don't love it like I love Clannad or Haruhi. But I am enjoying it quite a bit, akin to how how much I enjoy Lucky Star and Kanon. I really don't know what you like though so ultimately you'll just have to see for yourself.

aidenraine 6701 cr points Send Message: 31 / M Online	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 11/23/12 when it comes to slice-of-life shows, I enjoy something more along the lines of drama or romantic comedy. some of my faves are the Key franchises (Clannad, Kanon, Angel Beats!), Oreimo, Sakurakou no Pet na Kanojo, and anything with a ; in the name.

I wonder if the development in this episode will be progressed and if Yuuta is actually starting to have some sort of feelings for Rikka. It seems almost as if he would have no trouble accepting it. I really would like to see them get together.

Click to show or hide Nibutani's machinations in trying to get Rikka to confess to Yuuta were hilarious. I had a feeling Rikka might fall when they kept showing the roof throughout the episode. So glad Yuuta was there to save her. That end was sweet.
