I loved the pilot episode!  It reminded me the strong points of some of my favorite animes. It's most reminiscent of Hyouka in terms of character interactions and temporality. This is quite difficult to explain but Hyouka's strong point is how these ordinary events just make you sit back and relax. Then for the character sketch, it reminded me of Clannad. How each character was described and how the jokes were cracked. The futuristic and technology in here were simple but it manages to get it's point across. I'm looking forward to the following episodes. This was the first time I'm actually pleased with something Nitro Plus has to offer. |

I was wondering about the elephant mouse syndrome too. It wasnt explained very well. Maybe she just passes out for one second, but her mind processes it like it was 5 minutes. The reverse seems more likely though, she passes out for 5 and it seems to her like she didnt pass out at all.

This might be developing slow, but they are obviously laying a bunch of ground work, especially since there are a bunch of character yet to be introduced.
I like Aki & Kaito's relationship. They are both single-mindedly focused on their passions, but Kaito doesn't seem to care about the connection. Yet. He will, once he gets the controller he wants. And he really cares about Aki though he doesn't want to show it. It's very sweet.
Other than that, I'm curious what the central conflict will be. I hope we don't have to wait too long before we start to see it. It's not a great show (yet) but there are worse shows so I'll continue to watch it. At least Aki's enthusiasm is entertaining. |

so they both suffer from elephant mouse syndrome? it seems like that since, they are able to slow down the world around them. but aki is most likely a severe form?
that theory has to many flaws.
aki sister said that they were still watching him. and he had weird flash backs. is his syndrome tramatically induced.
i like the path the anime took, it was obvious once you see the mask but was still fun. kai is balancing aki which i like. and aki isn't as annoying as i thought she would be so thats another upside for me.
