Zensunni wrote: They better have an explanation for these illnesses that are at least semi-plausible in terms of actual science or the show will be in danger of losing me. The mysterious illness thing is never one of my favorite plot choices in the first place, but in a show that is a "science adventure" series, it needs to take the science seriously. I recall reading that Robotics;Notes is more SOL-esque and focuses more on the mechanics of a real giant robot. The way I interpreted Aki's condition is that her brain blanks out for a moment and when it restarts it attempts to collect all the information lost from the black out hence why time moves faster for her in that moment. |

It's being done by the same people. Hence the world line in the first episode if you spot it. Same as Chaos;head. |

The first major revelation. Things are finally starting to get serious.
Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide The writers certainly have a penchant for science organization being involved in conspiracies and coverups. |

I wish the one who started this thread puts the link to the stream site for this anime . I always wonder about this anime and what is the dark side of it all but aside from that , I actually dont like the very genki female protagonist but I am glad they set up the other character to be opposite to her so there seem to be a balance. LIke what they did in Haruhi. Those characters do annoy me but I am glad they take her down to reality level most of the time, . |

It seems like nothing has happened through 7 episodes.

Stein;Gate had 25 episodes so I suppose R;N will have the same number because there's no way the story can be completed in 12.
