This show handles how destructive insecurity can be very well.

Click to show or hide neither have I, but I assume he is the guy that Yamato didn't protect from bullies back in middle school. At least that is my best guess. Good episode. I loved the ending! Good to see the shy girl becoming assertive for a change! |

I've read all the current translations of the manga, so nothings a spoiler to me. But it is one of my all-time favourite manga.
Latest ep was sweet and squee-worthy. |

Latest episode was great, so emotional as always. This one was done quite differently from the manga. The scanlators are waaay behind so you can be spoiled. Chapter 24 came out last year in Japanese. The tankobon with chapter 40 will be out in Japanese soon and Dessert magazine comes out monthly. simbakito wrote: So far I have enjoyed the anime. I like both the opening and ending songs. I love the theme songs too. They're on youtube in so-so quality so I might have to buy a disc. MAL says 13 episodes but that still isn't enough as we are only done chapter 14 of the manga out of almost 40 chapters. I think chapter 20 is about the most they will reach unless they really do some serious chapter skipping. animelolita72 wrote: I really like this anime but it is getting on my never that she want tell him how she really feels it has been to many ep. of the same thing it's getting old. Mei is 16 and quite innocent and inexperienced as this episode's title indicated. I don't find it tedious, I think it's a sweet shojo manga and anime. If I want stuff to happen I can read Nozoki Ana instead, and I do, but you get a very different feeling from seinen manga. |

hpulley Latest episode was great, so emotional as always. This one was done quite differently from the manga. I quite like the fact that they're trying to make the anime it's own and slightly different. It's just a shame as I'm a non Japanese reader, they've only translated up to chapter 24. It's definitely become one of my favourites and it would be nice to read the rest. |

Not quite the same but coincidentally the other Dessert magazine shojo serial, My Little Monster (Tonari no Kaibutsukun) is also great and is showing on Crunchyroll as a simulcast. In the Crunchyroll catalog, have you seen Kimi ni Todoke? Toradora is another great romance series in the Crunchyroll catalog. Not sure how many can be viewed from Yorkshire however. phoenix705 wrote: hpulley Latest episode was great, so emotional as always. This one was done quite differently from the manga. It is a second chance so they can explain things better sometimes in the adaptation. I am not sure why the scanlators are so slow with this one. Others are much faster. Shojo manga is very easy to read at least. Since it is aimed at 10-18 year olds it has furigana on every kanji so you don't even need a kanji dictionary! |
