Why would people make Morgan Freeman play a role as god?

So I can see that they are trying to prove a point that this nigga is the reason why we have thieves, rapist, killers and other sort of criminals in our country. I see what they did there now. Good going guys. Sometimes I think to myself that god might be real. But he's a nigga, so thats why this world is messed up.

What are your opinions about why Morgan Freeman gets to play as god?
