It was good. Though the stab scene was kinda bad IMO. I think that's the weakest variation of it for me regarding SAO for this arc.

LN > Original Web Novel > Anime regarding that stab scene.

rest of the ep was decent. Sad they did not keep in Liz's epilouge from LN / web novel. Or Klein's cry's for when Kirito was going to shatter.

what is that about original web novel and light novel being different? honestly id love to acutally buy some of the manga's and light novels that dont actually come out here but..i have no idea how. did u find the original on the web somewhere or u know where someone in the US can buy Raw manga and the like?

The original web novel of SAO was something Kawahara wrote from 2002 ~ 2008. It was hosted on his website, and of course only in japanese. He took it down when before SAO started it's official publication in 2009.

The light novel is basically a polished up version of what he wrote in the original web novel. He's removed a lot of well... dumb / bad things he initially wrote since he's grew as a writer in through those years.

Any traces of the web novel is pretty much nonexistent. He probably has it saved on his personal pc of course.

Only way you would know about original web novel's content is to have visited his website and read it from there from 2002 - 2008. (all in japanese mind you!) Or know some japanese friends who've read it too.

I guess I'm kind of lucky since I checked out his website a couple months before he took down the web version in 2008.
I skimmed through what was the contents of Vol. 1 - 7 of the LN and well read what would probably amount to the last 2 volumes of SAO that have yet to be published.

Though that was 4 years ago since I read the original...and I wasn't as proficient in Kanji as I am now. It was still good enough to get the gist of what was going on I suppose.

Err...I'll stop there before I blab on more and maybe spoil the story for even LN readers.
Unless Kawahara was to change his story (unlikely...) lol.

Just read the eng translated LN @Baka-Tsuki as _lazuli_ linked. the currently published 10 main novels are fully translated, and some extra side stories / materials is too (as well as still being worked on)

After my last comment, I sat down to read the next two volumes, and as a new reader, I have to say, it sounds like a treat. Can't wait for it. I hope they balance the in-MMO and out portions well, few enough though there are.

Thumbs-up for the next episodes.

This episode gave me lots of feels and was sad in my opionon.
The only scene i laughed at which probally wasnt funny but funny in my opinon was when klein said ''Get me a meal in the other world'' i think
After two years in the game, kirito has grew hair when he goes back to the real life, since he has not been in the real world for a long time since hes been in the game.. which kinda looks like a girl in my opinon
I am looking foward to ALO

Ep14 was dam good, but crunchyroll has not put ep15 on SAO, theirs no 'coming soon' to it, are they taking a brake or is crunchyroll going to add it in as a season 2, i think it would make sense to add in a season 2 right now, it seems to fit in, could someone enlighten me of what they are planing to do with SAO

Sword Art Online was already added on the Fall 2012 Lineup. There is a slight (few days) delay when they add the new episode timer but you can find the timer in this very group's [Front Page].

Okay...so I was wrong. It does seem there are a couple if not few blogs that still have parts of the original web novel.
ORZ What I get for not doing a thorough enough search.

If you're a novel reader, who happens to know someone who can read Kanji w/o difficulties. Plus with a fair amount of free time, hopefully they won't mind SKIMMING through these 2 links to spoil you on the ending for the web novels...good luck is all I will say to them if you find anyway.

ah ok cool. i figured it was in the original versions, i need to learn to read kanji...then find sites that are actually japanese so i can read the original of stuff. thats one of my biggest motivations to start learning to read and write japanese so that i can see the original unedited stuff before it gets americanized
