but with 5 episodes to go, given that it's not the most fast-paced anime I don't see much else.
Now Nanami could pass her audition. But given that her confession is dependent on her passing, I can see her failing and exiting stage left....

I agree with you. Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide While there's not much episodes left; I kind of hate myself for reading some of the light novel... that's my problem though

I've read them... trying so, so, so hard not to spoil, not to spoil, not to spoil...
But honestly I thought they might skip most of this chapter. It was really long. But instead of skipping it... they made it a long one. We don't actually know more about what is going to happen than at the end of the last episode which previewed the Sakura Hall issues.
Ah well, we can dream of season 2. At this point my hope that they would get to the end of the 8th novel is fading fast. Now I wonder if we'll get to the end of #7... We are still in chapter 1 of novel #6 with 5 episodes to go?
Don't get me wrong! I am loving every second of the show. I just wish it had 100 episodes because, believe it or not, they have skipped so much from the novels already that it is unfortunate how much people are missing. But if they don't animate the end of the novels it will be a shame.

I love this show. And this is good information to know: it's a nice incentive to go read the novels. While I'm sure fans of the novels are complaining that not enough is being adapted, I'm rather happy with the pace of the adaptation.
Here's hoping we'll get a second season.

This is one of the easiest reading light novel series around. Much easier than Kokoro Connect for example. Almost 100% furigana and if you know any computer jargon then what Sorata and Ryuunosuke do is quite simple. Misaki making anime, Nanami wanting to be a seiyuu, the terminology is what we know about anime.
The pacing has been good. Anime and novels are different media, different pacing can be used IMO.

I love this anime, I can relate to this because I live in a dorm, which is kinda like Sakura Hall, with all of the shenanigans happening all the time XD
