Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide Misaki really does look too cute in her costume, and it looks like Nanami failed. Now let the Mashiro route finish the anime :D |

As vanilla as I thought Sakurasou was, I don't really like how some of the characters are treated. I think Mashiro is a cool character and all and I get that in real life, love works in mysterious ways, but the situation that Nanami was placed into sucked. Her character experiences more misfortune than I thought at first. So she enrolls at the school, and supports herself because her father didn't like the thought of her being a voice actress, she ends up moving to Sakurasou because working proved to be too much, she doesn't pass one of her auditions, then she doesn't pass her last one, meaning she has to go home to Osaka. I would daresay that her moving into Sakurasou with Sorata (the guy she liked) was an unfortunate event because sure, she got closer to him, but only to lose him later. Kind of rubbing salt in the wound there. I'm glad this show is upbeat for the most part because if there were more emotion in this, I'd think Nanami's story were even worse.

Even so, there is so much left to go I don't know what they are going to do with the anime. Got the second import BD yesterday and it comes with a soundtrack CD, sketchbook and Neko, Shiro, and Mashiro schedule book, cards, another great package. |

Perhaps my answer was too short. There IS a manga version but I have not read or seen it and as such I don't know how it compares to the anime or the novels for content, story, etc. I doubt the manga is as far along as the anime at this point but I am not sure. |
