watch a movie that makes you cry... try the grave of the fireflies... if you then cry and you will suddenly feel your eyes heavy then thats the time you can sleep...LOL

1. Exercise during the day
2. Avoid caffeine after Noon.
3. Sleep nude. (gives an even heat distribution while sleeping and improves circulation).
4. Turn off any lights in your room. I put black electrical tape over all LEDs in my room to block any light at all.

lay in a dark room artificial light often disrupts the flow of melatonin which is a chemical that is released in the brain that causes you to feel sleepy. Failure to do that lack of sleep could also mean your not doing enough with your day try excersising or increasing your activity output in some way like joinning a community soccer team. If you still find your having trouble try reading or doing down time before sleep, do not watch tv! and if you still can't sleep or you find your constantly waking up periodicaly during the night consistently for longer than 2 weeks consult your doctor.

Listen to binaural beats with head phones its like taking drugs, but without the drugs. 1 hour of that and you will fall asleep in no time.

I'm not an expert as I have DEEP DARK bags under my eyes, I usually wake up at 12:30pm, fall asleep at 4:30am, then repeat..

But when I try to sleep, I just watch a boring DVD and before I know it, I'm out like a light.
