Well there's something I want to try tonight. I saw it on an episode of a show called the Mentalist. Breath in, and count to one. Breath out, and count to two. Keep doing this, focusing only on counting and breathing, until you fall asleep. Hope it works.

take a shower, then plan to do something very important within X amount of minutes. Then sit down on your bed to get dressed and realize how comfy your bed is.
Miss your "important event" and successfully oversleep by 4 hours.

Combine ambien, diphenhydramine, laughing gas, green herb, and wash it down with a couple of shots of alcohol. At the very least you'll be unconscious.

i really cant sleep at all no matter how hard i try so if i actually want to sleep i have to get completely wasted drunk and smoke alot to pass out for only a good few hours and then still i find it hard to sleep some times so iam pretty much up all night every night wide awake

You can replace "something important" with something simple like brushing your teeth, and still get the same effect. Except, I end up taking a 2-4 hr nap instead, lol.

Beds are traps! You say you're gonna lay down for a few seconds, and you end up dosing off with all the lights on. It's devious...

Stay up till 5 am, then when you get on your bed, you will instantly fall asleep.....

For some reason I stayed up till 5 am.... when I woke up... I was so confused, I do not remember going to sleep.... oh... and I have a huge test..... I am so confused as to why I stayed up till 5......

I have the same problem, the only "cure" I have found is to stay up a night then go to bed early next night (like 21:00 or something, atlest 9hrs of sleep) and force yourself to sleep at 21'ish every night.
