I read somewhere in a very old thread here that the reason this and others like Queens Blade do not stream on my ipad is because of Apple policies on excessive violence or mature themes. Is this true? If it is, then why can I watch Queens Blade, Elfen Lied, and any number of others on The Netflix app?

Forgive the quality. Click on settings then under the account settings section go to video preferences then click the drop down menu for mature content filter and select show mature content and save these settings

Netflix's shear size probably has a lot to do with it. If Netflix members learned that their Netflix content on iOS was being restricted, the number of complaints from over 20 million members would be a problem for them.

From what I understand, even Hulu Plus content isn't restricted on the iPhone. (They have about 1.5 million subscribers, whereas CR recently reported passing 100,000).

Basically, the smaller you are, the easier it is for Apple to be able to get away with saying, "Our way or the highway".

Unless it changed recently, I believe one used to be able to browse to Crunchyroll in Safari on their mobile device, select an episode with "mature content", and have it play in the app.

Not for Apple. They change morality policies for nobody. Draconian Empire.

Can't, it's flash

Thanks, I'll try it out! Mine wasn't set at all yet. If it turns out to be this then I was misinformed. That will be a relief.

Setting up the default mature settings did it! Man, a week of aggravating over this...

Thanks!
